Not mine

You were putting notebooks in your bag when Alison came knocked on your door. You looked up at her and smiled. You continued to pack when Alison sent you skeptical look.

"You sure you wanna go to the school today?" Alison asked and you shrugged.

"Kinda indifferent about it." you mumbled and went to grab your pen when Alison took your hand, spinning you around and embracing you in hug.

"Why don't you stay home today?" she asked with puppy eyes.

"Because... unlike you, I haven't still finished high school and I'd like to finish it in order to go to college. And I already called in sick this week." you said and she pouted.

"C'mon, one more day won't kill you. I'm skipping college if that helps." she smiled hopefully making you crack a small smile too.

"Fine." you said dropping your bag on the floor. "I'll call in sick... again."

"We could do so much fun things now that you have a day off. We could go to the museum, movies, park..." she added and you chuckled.

"Or we could just stay at home?" you replied, plopping on the bed next to her.

"I was waiting for you to say that." Alison said making you both laugh.
