The door of the escape pod opened, and Kanan emerged with Rae in his arms, along with Ezra right behind him. Hera was there waiting for them and came over immediately once she saw them. "What happened to Rae?" she asked curiously. Kanan shrugged until Ezra came up and started explaining. "We were running through the hallways to find Kanan until I heard her fall behind me. She had tripped over a mouse droid that we never saw coming." Hera nodded as she listened. She then hugged Kanan, Ezra and Rae all at once before then leading them to the med bay, so they could heal Rae.
Kanan walked over to one of the beds and laid Rae down and pulled the scanner over her leg so he could see how bad it was. "Is she going to be ok?" Sabine asked from the doorway. Kanan looked away from Rae for a second to give a reassuring smile to Sabine as she then came over. "Yeah, she'll be fine. It's luckily just a small fracture." he responded. She gave a sigh of relief looking to Rae, putting a hand on hers and smiled. "You'll be ok." she said before sighing again and then left to most likely go find something to paint.
"Ezra, why don't you go check on Sabine." Kanan suggested as he then got to work on Rae's cast for her leg. "Ok then." he responded as he got up and went after her. "Hey, Sabine. Are you ok?" Ezra asked to the girl who seemed to be crying. "Yeah I'm fine." she said in a small voice. Ezra turned her around to see a tear stained face and he then hugged her. "Why are you crying?" he asked soothingly. "Rae and I became really close friends. She likes alot of the similar things I do and I just don't want anything bad to happen to her." she responded. "None of us want anything bad to happen to her. All we can hope for, is for her to get better so she can hopefully spend more time with us. She'll have to anyway, because she can't really go anywhere." he said as she then broke away from the hug. "Um, thanks Ezra. I think I'll go in and paint something on one of her walls." she said before then turning and disappearing into her room for supplies.
After Ezra returned to the med bay, he walked over to Kanan. "How is Rae?" he asked. Kanan turned to look at his Padawan and nodded. "Shes well, she's just resting now. She will be for a little while. How's Sabine? Was she ok?" Ezra nodded. "Yeah, she was just worried about Rae." he responded.
