"I love you babe." Carson stated from across the table at the restaurant.

"I love you too." I said back. I was lost in thought at how great things were going. I was almost done with school and he was already done with a steady job. I had the perfect life. He was my dream guy. He and I had been dating for quite a while. A sudden jolt of energy flowed through me causing a pounding headache and a quick flash of light in my head.

"You ok?" He asked as I clutched my head.

"Yeah. Just a headache."

"You've been getting those a lot. You sure you're ok?" He asked. He was right. I had been getting headaches like these for months off and on.

"Yeah. I've been getting them off and on for months. Doctors say there's nothing to worry about." I replied. He took a deep breath and we finished our meal uninterrupted. We paid for our meal and walked back to his '65 mustang. I got in the passenger seat and stared at his gorgeous face. His soft, chiseled features and tough guy exterior, all softened immensely by his sensitive and loving personality he rarely showed to anyone else. He leaned in and we shared a slow passionate kiss before he took me home.

I laid in bed but the headaches kept coming. I was becoming scared. I got them a lot but never this many at a time. Random bursts of light and blurry images came one after one. I couldn't get them out of my head. They slowly dissipated until they stopped altogether. I was out of breath and scared.
