How To Save A Life (A Niall Horan Fan Fic)

I was getting fed up with the other boys. They wouldn't listen to anything I had to say.

I just wanted to make new friends, but it was hard to do that while being in a big boyband. So, one

day while I was looking on twitter I noticed a fan tweeting to me to talk to her in some random

chat room. And that's when I realized that I can chat with people without knowing I'm famous

and be normal for once!

(I couldn't believe that someone actually responded! Finally I was feeling like my old self again.)

Irishsoccerplayer24: Would you mind me asking where you are from?

Musiclover16: I live in The U.K. and tell me if I'm wrong, but I take it you're from Ireland?

Irishsoccerplayer24: Did my username give me away?(;

Musiclover16: Maybe... And I've gotta go, sorry. Get back on around this time and we can message again?

Musiclover16 disconnected from chat

I couldn't believe how well that went! Tomorrow we were going to talk again, but this time I'm

gonna find out more about this person.

"Niall! Are you coming to eat dinner with us or not?" Liam asked.

"Did you seriously just ask that?" I replied with a smirk.

All through dinner I thought about my new friend. I didn't even eat as much as I usually did!

"Niall why aren't you eating?" Liam asked looking very concerned.

"Just thinking about things, but I'm okay" I said with a smile.

Liam didn't look at all convinced. Through the whole meal he kept staring at me while the boys

chattered about nothing.

After a very awkward dinner it was thankfully time to go home. I spent most of the night thinking

of whether Musiclover16 was a boy or girl and questions I would ask him or her. A knock at my

door interrupted my thoughts.

"COME IN!" I yelled.

Liam slowly opened the door and walked over to my bed and sat down. He was looking at me

trying to figure out what I was hiding.

"Niall?" Liam asked.

"Yes", I replied.

"You tell me everything right?" Liam asked with sad eyes.

I bit my lip and answered, "Of course Li! You're my best friend."

At that he smiled. I hugged him and told him good night. I felt like such a horrible person for lying

to my best friend, but it was worth it. Liam would never want me talking to strangers and I don't

want to disappoint him. That night I was going to bed with a guilty conscience.
