"Do you, Jordan Elizabeth Graham, take Jason Ryan Monroe to be your forever boyfriend?" She said, in all seriousness. Her gap tooth smile on display as she stared up at me.

"I...uh..."

"I object!" Candice jumped in, saving me from ruining her little sisters fun. "My best friend can't marry my brother! That's gross! That's like Kayla marrying Jason, Liv!" She continued, pretending to be utterly disgusted at the thought.

Little Olivia's eyebrows furrowed as she thought over her older sisters words. She looked at me, then at Jason, both of us dressed up at her demand. She had decided she wanted to be the person who makes couples be together forever. It was adorable, so I played along, although Jason was enjoying this too much.

"Shut up Candi, this is between me and Jordi. If I don't grab her now, she'll keep running from me." Jason said to his sister. Jason has had a crush on me ever since I turned 16. I got my braces off, started wearing better fitting clothes, and grew my hair longer, and so he started paying more attention to me. I never saw it through though, he's like an older brother to me, and that's weird.

"No, Candi is right! I wouldn't want Kayla to marry you, that's yuck!" Olivia said, her face showing her distaste. "Okay, weddings off! I'll practice when Jordi has a real boyfriend."

"Lexi has a boyfriend, why don't you practice with her?" Candi asked her sister.

"Becaaaaause, Jordi is my favourite." She said in a 'duh' kind of way, rolling her eyes.

"Hey!" Lexi finally said, looking up from her phone.

"Okay guys, don't be jealous because little Olivia likes me more, I'm just naturally lovable." I said, tickling Olivia as she squirmed on the couch.

"That you are, princess." Jason added with a smirk.

"You have a girlfriend, hotshot, and she doesn't like me as is, so keep those comments for her." I told him, Olivia now on my lap, playing with my hair.

"That's because she knows that you and I are going to get married one day," he said with a sigh, "but anyway, I'm going out, gonna meet up with a new friend I made. He's from England. He's an exchange student. He has a cool accent..." Jason carried on listing things about his new friend as he went upstairs, none of us were really listening as we distracted ourselves with other things.

Alexia Vera - or Lexi as we call her - still stared at her phone, probably talking to her boyfriend. She smiled slightly, and twisted her light brown hair around  her finger. The light from her screen reflected in her glasses, and I could see the text bubbles as the messages popped up.

Candice Monroe sat beside her, flipping through channels on the tv. Her cropped blonde hair framed her face, and emphasised her stunning cheekbones. We all called her Candi - she says it's because she's so sweet, but we just laugh at that notion.

Little Olivia's eyelids started to flutter as she sat in my lap. She was just 6 years old, but she was so smart and beautiful already. The Monroe family definitely had good genes. Her long curly blonde hair was braided in two French braids. She had asked me to do her hair like mine so we could be twins.

I sat smiling, looking at each of my best friends. My black hair was done the same as Olivia's and she held the end of one braid and was twirling it around. Her pale skin was a contrast to my tanned skin.

I lifted Olivia into my arms, and started carrying her to her room. Lexi and Candi looked up at me, and I mouthed that I'd be right back. They nodded, and went back to what they were doing.

When I got back to the living room, we all cuddled on a couch and started a movie. None of us spoke, but we didn't need to. We were so comfortable around each other and it's been like this for as long as I can remember. We've been Candi, Lexi, Jordi for as long as I can remember. I just hope nothing will ever change that.
