Louis' P.O.V.
''So, I had a really good night tonight, Lou'', he said. The way his raspy voice says my name sends electricity through my body.
''Yeah, so did I Harry. It was quite a lovely night, and I hope we can do it again soon''. I tried to show how happy I was without the hint that I was also upset that the night had ended.
We arrived at my house, and I can tell it was late by the absense of any lights on inside of the house. As we walked up the steps to the porch, the light automatically came on, illuminating his face. I felt his hand interlock in mine, and he pulled me to face him. I was scared, and anxious at the same time. The only sound filling this perfect atmosphere was the sound of our breathing.
''We can surely go out again sometime'', he said slowly, his facing coming close to mine. I gulped, staring into his bright, green eyes. His perfectly shaped lips came close to mine, and -
My eyes snap open as I hear the beeping of my alarm clock. I groan in frustration, and violently smack it off the nightstand. 'Of course this damn thing would go off right when Harry was going to kiss me.'
I roll off my bed and go into the bathroom to prepare myself for another day at school. After showering quickly, I change into my jumper, and slacks, before slipping on my Vans. After almost forgetting to put on my glasses, I look in the mirror and sigh. Its too bad my dream would never become a reality.
Harry and I are like night and day. He's the star of the football team, with a large group of friends. He's had many different girlfriends, which obviously means he is completely straight. I on the other hand only have one ''friend', Liam, who I believe only hangs around me because he feels sorry for me. I've always been the so called nerd, and the center of Harry's friends' amusement.
I quickly snap out off my daze, grab my bag, and run downstairs to grab a quick breakfast.

As I pull into the school parking lot I quickly park my sky blue Prius. I open the car door and retrieve my bag and English folder, making a mental note to throw away at least half the papers inside the folder.
As I am walking along the sidewalk trying to go unnoticed, I notice the familiar car out of the corner of my eye. As the car pulls in, a small group of people get out of the car. I recognize their football unifroms, and right when I am about to turn away, I noticed a cheerleader figure getting out of the front seat. She has a glossy smile, and almost immediatley goes over to Harry, and clings to his arm. Heartbroken, I continue to stare at Harry, blocking everyone and everything else out. Visions of my dream come back to me, and before I realize it, one of Harrys' uniformed friends knocks the over stuffed folder out of my hands.
I hear the roar of laughter, and a distinct feminine giggle, mixed with the praises of his team mates. Silently, I bend down to pick up the scattered papers. I notice a shadow looming over me, and look up to see Harry's figure looking down at me. His hand slowly comes out of his pocket, and a lump forms in my throat when his hands reach down towards me. Just when I think he is going to help me pick up the papers, his hand knocks the pile in my hands on the ground once again.
''What a loser'', he says, shaking his head, and walking away with his gang of friends behind him. I can't help but turn my head, and watch him walk away.
Harry's P.O.V.
I try to keep the smile on my face as everyone continues to laugh and praise me. Kayla continues to hold onto my arm, babbling on about the party that's tonight. I can't help but turn my head to look back at Louis. He's still trying to clean up the papers that are scattered around on the ground.
I can't help myself from feeling guilty for what I had done, but then again, it gave me the spotlight for the moment.

I find myself horribly bored during the lesson on whatever we're learning in 1st Period, so I excuse myself out of the class room, and head to the bathroom. As I'm walking, thoughts of what happened earlier today come back into my head. The way he looked at me when I was about to help him pick up his things almost made me smile, but then I remembered that my friends were behind me, and had no choice but to knock the rest of the papers out of his hands. I hope he would understand that.
Wait. Why do I even care? He's just some nerd, and its not even a big deal.
'Yes it is', I subconsciously think.
I shake my head, removing any pity for the loser, and walk into the bathroom. As I turn the corner, I stop in my tracks. Standing by the sink, cleaning his glasses is Louis. My first thought is to apologize, but I catch myself lost with words when his eyes meet mine. He seems startled, and abruptly grabs his things, and rushes to the door. I don't know why, but my hand reaches out to stop him. He slightly flinches, which catches me off guard, and I stop myself, watching him hurry out the door. I make my way to the urinals, and after washing my hands, I notice a small composition book on the floor. Louis' name is prnited on the cover.
I decide to look through the pages, and maybe recognize what class he uses it for so I can return it to him. Flipping through the book, I find myself surprised. Written inside aren't the notes for a specific class, but are pages filled with hearts and doodles meant for a certain someone....Me.
