I did expect Hanna to be late, but I didn't expect her to go downtown to go shopping!
The four of us started to head to the front door, since Ali had gone to her room.

As we were walking down, Emily spoke up "So guys, what are we gonna do?'

"I don't know, I mean, what do we have to loose if we lie?" Asked Hanna.

"I am not going to lie for Ali again, it's just too much for me to handle," said Spencer.

I didn't say anything, as I was too freaked out about what Charlotte had done to us.

"So guys, I'm kinda tired now, so I'm gonna head home," that was Emily.

"Yeah, I'm about to pass out too, see ya guys," I finally said.

As Emily went out, I saw Hanna give her the 'look,' which really did concern me.

Hanna's P.O.V

Emily was heading out, and I stared at her. The stare which meant that we needed to talk. I waited for Spence and Aria to leave, so that Em and I could talk by ourselves.
"Hey..are you getting out of here?"

"Yah...I just have a few work emails to deal with,"

"I need to talk to you"

"Yeah what's up?"

"Come on Em, you know what I want to talk to you about!"

"Let me guess, your marriage?" "I saw your ring Han, it's gorgeous...and it's so cool that you came to tell me first!"

"Wait, no no, that's not what I wanted to talk to you about"

"Oh"

"I saw the paper in your bag"
"Oh.."

"Em, what's going on?"

"What are you talking about?" "I don't know what you mean"

"Em, it's me...."

She didn't say anything

"Are you sick?" She shook her head.

"No....I'm, I'm broke."
"What...what about Pepperdine?"

"It's not real, I mean the place is, I just...I don't have a job there and I don't go to college there either."

"What's going on?"

We started to walk to our cars.

"The last couple of years, have just been a lot harder then I made them sound," "I left school, and I blew through all the money that my Dad left me....that's why Ivy, one of the girls that I bartend with told me about it"

"Told you about what?"

"Donating my eggs"

"Wait, so that sheet of paper I saw in your bag?"

"It's a sheet with the whole procedure...like how many doses of hormones you need to take before the procedure"

"Hormones?"

"Yeah, I've been taking injections..and that's the reason why I'm doing the procedure here."

"Em..you don't have to do this, I'll lend you the money"

"No, it's okay, I want to..I mean, for the first time in forever, I actually feel good about a choice I made. I'm gonna help to people start a family.." We both smiled.

"I just wish you would've told me sooner."

"I didn't know how"
"Well whoever they are, they are the luckiest couple in the world"

"Thanks Han!"

And with that we both hugged and said bye.
