Unknown Anger

I sit outside in the gardens, avoiding the touch of the sharp roses. Alois always told me I was forbidden to touch them, I have no idea why though. Perhaps the thorns he warns me of will hurt, perhaps he just doesn't want me touching his precious flowers because they are quite beautiful.

I avert my gaze before I am tempted to grab a rose against Alois' wishes. Instead, my eyes land on some beautifully colored flowers. I lean close and breathe deeply, "bluebells..." I mumble, recalling a book I had read on their appearance and scent back when I was still in heaven with Mother and Father.

I pick out a few and smile, they are very beautiful. 'Alois may like these as a necklace, he does say I don't give enough in return.' I smile to myself and get to work on making a nice necklace for Alois and a coiled ring for my own finger.

I get up, turning to run into the house. Sadly, I end up bumping into Claude and my animal ears appear, flattening on my head. "I do expect you say sorry unless you'd like his highness to hear about this." I cringe a bit and look down at his threat. "P-Please forgive me sir...." I apologize softly and wince as the bluebell necklace I had made was torn from my hands.

"Oh I'll forgive you, but I think I'll take this as compensation." He smirks, examining the flowered necklace. I reach the hand without the ring towards Claude, "but sir that's for." I snatch my hand back at the cold look I receive. "I'll be going now, please don't hesitate to clean yourself up. You're quite filthy, cat." He spits the words before walking out of my sight.

I look down sadly, seeing that he was right, my hands were filthy and so were my clothes. I didn't dare groom myself, knowing and not liking the consequences. I sat down and whimpered, confused. My hand moved over my heart and gripped the clothing covering it. "Wh-What's going on...?" I mumbled softly and my lips curled back into a slight snarl.

I tilt my head and crouch instead of sitting now, my tail swaying threateningly and my ears pulled back menacingly. 'What's going on with me?'

3rd P.O.V

Meanwhile...

"Ciel?! Ciel?!" Elizabitc- sorry, Elizabeth squeals in worry. Ciel's face was pale before he began to cough up water. "L-Lizzy...?" She sighed in relief, "oh Ciel I was so worried!" Sebastian frowned and sighed softly. He wondered if everyone could feel the Angel's killer intent from this far.

Back with Ria....

She let out another low growl, triplets surrounding her. "Lady Ria," Timber called and her head snapped to him. "Please calm down," Thompson continued. "Or we'll be forced to take drastic measures," Canterbury finished off for them.

Ria didn't hesitate and lunged at Canterbury, the last one to speak. "Ria!" A loud voice rang out and Ria got off of Canterbury without growling.

"Ria, come here now." Alois gestured for her to come over and Ria blinked, snapping out of it. She stood up and nodded, walking over to Alois. Alois snatched her arm and dragged her behind him. "Claude, no one is to bother Ria and I. That's an order." The taller boy hissed and dragged Ria into the manor and to the study.

"Would you like to explain what happened to you Ria?" Alois asked once he closed the doors, he was facing the doors with his hands on the handles. Ria panicked, Alois sounding extremely angry. "Claude took the crown of bluebells I made you and it upset....me...." She trailed off as Alois' shoulders slumped.

"Ria..." He mumbled before turning around and walking over to her, cupping her cheeks. Her eyes widen, "yes Alo- mphf!" She froze as his lips were suddenly against hers.

Alois pulled away after a moment and took her hand, he seemed to notice something and held up her hand, looking at the flower ring closely. "Bluebells..." He mumbled softly and teared up.

Ria was still frozen in shock, her hand moving from Alois' and moving to her mouth. "I want you to keep that ring on Ria, as long as you can. And don't tell Claude about this, he doesn't have to know." Alois whispered softly and kissed Ria's cheek.

Ria nodded numbly, she felt slightly sick. Why did she though? It was Alois, someone who had taken care of her all this time. She cared for him as much as he did her. But....

Why did she feel like she was hurting someone else?

Hello my little Nutellas~! It's finally Alois' day. Hope you all have a great day today. I'm on a college visit trip right now.
