Jo's pov
It was my turn now, I've been anticipating this moment as I watched everyone else make their testimony's I smiled at Danny as he looked back at me with a look of curiosity he was most likely wondering what I was going to say unfortunately I'm not even sure what I'm going to say I sighed as I walked up to the front of the court room to make my statement "Ms.. Masterson? describe your relationship with Danny" someone from the school bored asked "I love him" I wanted to say unfortunately all I could manage was a sigh "its complicated but I know he's a good person" I finally said "could you elaborate?" this is not going well I thought as I racked my Brain for something to say "no I just know he is" I said looking down at my hands "it hasn't been easy" I said with a sigh "what hasn't been easy?" the guy from the school bored asked "trusting him" I answered as I put my head in my hands "I just cant turn away from him" I finished as I sighed in defeat "why cant you turn away?" he asked as he folded his hands "I don't know It would be easier for me if I could tell you he's just this Amazing person and he makes me feel so.........." a sob broke in cutting me off I sigh wipe away the stray tears and try again "he makes me feel so......... I mean how could he be this awful person when I'm falling for......" oh no I thought as I looked behind my shoulder to see Danny looking at me with wide eyes oh no what have I done I thought as tears started sliding down my face "I've got to go" I said unable to say anything else as I ran out the door "JO!" I heard Danny yell as I continued running I don't know where I'm going all I know is that I need to go somewhere private so no one will see me fall apart.
Danny's pov
Did Jo really just say what I think she said is she really falling for me? I asked my self as I continued looking for jo "JO! " I yelled as I walked to our old club house if I know Jo than this is where she'll most likely be I thought as I walked inside and noticed Jo sobbing "Jo" I said in a soft tone apparently I startled her because as soon as I said her name she jumped "I have to go" she said wiping away her tears "WAIT!" I yelled making her stop "Are you really falling for me?" I asked hoping for a real answer "bye" Jo said as she walked out the club house door without answering me "I'm falling for you to" I said in a whisper after she left I know that Jo was to far away to hear me but I at least had to admit it to myself that alone might give me enough confidence to tell her. the next day at school could only be described in one word lonely Jo was freezing me out and lacey was mad at me over some video that got sent to everyone in the school I was back to being a loner I was my only friend it wasn't till after school that I finally got a chance to talk to Jo "Jo could you please talk to me?" I asked grabbing a hold of her hand "why? first I humiliate myself in front of everyone than I find out that you and lacey have been dating behind my back why should I talk to you?"
Jo's pov
I stare at Danny patiently waiting for him to answer me "because" he finally says "I meant what I said you are the most important person in the world to me" I look down at my hands trying not to let on how much Danny's words really effected me "look" Danny sighed "I'll pick you up tonight at 8 I've got a surprise for you" "what if I don't want you to pick me up" I reply trying to be stubborn an in attempt to hide my loyalty towards him "to bad" he answered with a smile that made my heart melt I smiled back as he walked away when I got home the first thing I did was get ready for tonight I didn't want to look like I was trying to hard so I just settled on my pretty red sweater and my nice blue jeans I was just finishing my makeup when I heard someone knock on the door "coming" I yelled as I sprinted towards the door
Danny's pov
I hope this night goes ok I thought as Jo opened the door "wow you look beautiful" I wanted to say but all that ended up happening is my mouth hanging wide open like an idiot "you look nice" I finally managed "thanks" Jo said blushing "shall we?" I asked locking my arm with Jo's about 10 minutes later jo finally understood where we were going "why are we going to the old club house?" Jo asked "you'll see" I replied as we walked into the club house "wow" Jo said as she looked at the lights that I had hung up "that's not even the best part" I said as Jo looked at me with curiosity "come on" I said grabbing her hand and leading her towards a table set for two as soon as we were seated I attempted to bring up what she said about falling for me "so Jo about you falling for me" "look Danny" Jo said standing up "I do love you and I know you don't like me back and I want you to know that I'm ok with it and....." Jo didn't get to finish her sentence because I cut her off with a kiss it took Jo a minute to start kissing back "Jo" I said breaking the kiss to breathe "yea" Jo said with a smile "you talk way to much" I said kissing her again.
