the angel, the demon, and the darkness

I stopped the bike at seeing the manhole that was still open. Lucifer touched down beside me, the man hole cover was surrounded in caution tape. I ripped it and reached down, Lucifer aided me in moving it, being it was back to being iron. the same pugent scent arose from the inside like last time, I held my breath and sat down. I slid in, I ignored the fact my shoes where getting filled with manure and moved to a shallower place. Lucifer touched down and walked up next to me, i held my hand up and an aura of light flew around it.

i could see about a half mile in front of us, "this way" Lucifer said. we walked the way he said. "keep going straight" michels voice said in my mind. "and how do you know that?" i asked, "i can see where you guys are headed, remember im up here" he said. i shook my head "your hair looks pretty like that" Lucifer said with a wink. "focus on the tunnel manwhore" i said crossing my arms over my chest, he whistled and said "im liking this view" when i noticed what he meant my arms fell at my sides and i slapped him across the face.

"pervert!" i screamed and started splashing him with the brown yucky liquid. "h-hey zoe stop it!" he said between laughing. once i was done, his hair looked like it was dyed brown. splatters where on his face. "we should probably continue i said and started walking. "ha you two still act like children" Michel mused. i rolled my eyes and walked straight. we reached a hatch labeled with that symbol. "welcome Zoe Kingsley" a deep voice echoed through the tunnel. "whose there" i growled drawing my gun quickly. "relax Ms. Kingsley no need to be so tense"

"who are you?" i snapped, "my name, just call me Jeremy, Jeremy Kingsley" i fists clenched around the gun. "why do you have my last name?" i seethed, finger nails ripping my skin. "oh pity your father never spoke about me, such a pity, well allow me to introduce myself, I'm your fathers brother" i heard the soft clatter of heals. then he came into view. his face was still silhouetted by darkness, but i made out a wicked grin on it. a women stood next to him grasping his arm "Zoe meet Chastity, my little doll"

chastity? what kind of name is that? she had long blonde hair "you two have something in common" he said "your both angels" now to tell the truth she looked like an angel. she had sparkling blue eyes and bangs framing her face, her features where calm, a white dress fell to her knees. "chasy give our guests a warm welcome" he said. she looked at me "nice to finally meet you Zoe Kingsley" she looked like an emotionless doll. i nodded my head. I knew one thing for sure, she wasn't human, but wasn't an angel.

she looked sad, i tried to etch together a smile for her. she diverted her eyes quickly. "follow me" the man said. i nodded my head "what are you planning zoe kingsley" Michel asked in my mind, i watched the girl. "you'll just have to wait and see" i said quietly, Lucifer was smirking at me. i flipped my hair behind my shoulder as Jeremy opened the hatch. inside was a dark hallway, he led me down it and stopped at a room "freshen up in here i know to get here you had to walk through that mess, i apologize, chasy heat up a bath for her"

"oh Lucifer follow me please" he said, chastity nodded her head and i followed her. there was silence "are you ok?" i asked softly, "what do you mean?" she asked. "why do you stay here?" i asked she stopped "because he saved me" she said quietly opening a door. she walked in the bedroom and walked to a door. "please, sit" she said, i did and watched her turn the bath on. "im not an angel" she finally said "i don't know what i am" i nodded my head "your not angel, not human, and to me feel like a demon as well" i explained.

"please strip and let me know if you need anything else, i will lay out something for you to wear" she said and exited the room. i stripped of my cloths and climbed in the hot bath, rose petals floated on top. right then i decided on something, I'm getting her out of here. i leaned back in the bath, soon i finished and grabbed a towel, wrapping myself up. i walked out of the bathroom and saw a dress laid out. it was blue and simple, long sleeves and reached my shins. i grabbed the belt and strapped it around my thigh, putting the gun in it, on my other i put the knife in.

i walked out Jeremy stood there waiting for me, chastity right next to him. "my sweat go get us drinks" said Jeremy and he led me down a hall into a big room with a fire place. Lucifer already sat on the couch with a tux on. i sat down next to him "we're saving that girl" i murmured under my breath, "yes, i know" Lucifer said quietly and watched Jeremy sit down in front of us.

the door creaked open and there stood chastity holding a tray with two glasses filled with water and one with red wine. she walked over and stood next to Jeremy, "not red! you know i hate red!" Jeremy screamed and flipped the tray, chastity gasped as three glasses spilled on her, she tumbled back. Lucifer placed his hand on over mine in an attempt to calm my raging nerves "now go get the right one and clean up the mess" i stood up. that cut it. "whats your deal?" i asked crossing my arms "chastity leave it there I'll clean it up, go get changed ok" i said to her.

chastity looked at me through the tears sparkling her eyes. i held my hand out to her and smiled, her hand reached up shakily. i helped her up, her legs where shaking violently "Lucifer clean that up please" i said. he nodded slightly, i wrapped my arm around her back and helped her walk "why did you do that?" she asked quietly head falling "because he's an asshole and i want to get you out of here" i said "i wont let someone get abused like this"

"b-but i owe him!" chastity said, "you don't owe that bastard anything!" i said as we reached the same bedroom i had just left. i sat her on the bed "now relax I'll set out some cloths for you" i said with a grin. "no i cant ask you to-" i shook my head with a smile "let me" i said i walked into the bathroom and turned the water on. i filled it up and grabbed the small canister with rose petals in it. i sprinkled some in. i walked back in chastity had stripped and was wrapped in a towel.

"t-thank you" she said and went in the bathroom. i grabbed a dress from the wardrobe,, it was a replica of the one she had on. "now then" i said "i'll be back" i lowered my voice. i walked out the door and drew the knife from my thigh. i opened the door inside Lucifer sat on the couch. Jeremy turned "thanks for the hospitality but I'm goona have to kill you now" i said. he stood up i jumped forewards and activated my powers. Lucifer did the same, me looked at each other i ran forwards and grasp his head and slammed it to my knee.

in the same moment Lucifer had fire in the palm of his hand and slammed it on the mans back. he screamed in agony he clawed at me. he ripped my dress right where i knew the burn was, it showed and i jumped back. it was a snake, "i know who killed your parents" i gapsed and at that moment i was slammed to the wall "w-what are you" i asked his eyes switched colors and scales appeared everywhere "your worst nightmare" he growled. i was stuck there in shock, my body couldn't move, that is until a fist landed on his head i brought my knee up shaking out of it. his head landed on my knee.

Lucifer grabbed my hand and we ran down the hall. i ran into the bedroom where chastity stood the back of her dress open, a tattoo wa son her back, it was one wing. her dress was zipped, i grabbed her hand and we started on a full on sprint. i saw the hatch and we ran down the sewer i saw the light and heard peoples footstes behind us. i jumped and grabbed the cement tugging myself up. i grabbed chastity's hand and pulled her up.

Lucifer jumped up my wings shot open, so did lucifers, and chastitys? we flew quickly
