The lack of warmth was the first indication that something was wrong. Light brown eyes struggled to open as the blonde twisted and turned. Finally, she could open her eyes. The void was all she could see, empty and cold, filled with darkness. It felt like an eternity before the stars appeared. The stars that had been her comfort since she was a young child had become her only light.

Why was she here?

Who had put her here?

And what had she done to deserve it?

The problem with the void was not the darkness that seemed to swallow her up, nor was it the stars, it was the silence. After so long, the silence began to get to you. Every move she made to observe her surroundings, she could hear, and the sounds haunted her.

"Lucy," a voice echoed in the darkness. It was almost faint, as if I had been hearing things and maybe I had imagined it.

"Lucy. " I spun around almost frantically searching for the person the voice belonged to. Was it possible that someone had been trapped in here with me?

"Daughter of the stars, come to me."

It was not a title I had ever heard. For some reason, it caused my magic to swell, as it seemed to respond to the title that this unknown being had given me. I turn around swiftly, hearing the sound of my hair whipping behind me.

Who was calling me?

 Where were they?

And what was that title?

Finally, I heard the comforting voice of the Celestial Spirit King "Old friend, so many years have passed. It is time for you to remember." I frowned in confusion as I gazed into the void. "Remember what?" Moustache face did not answer me and instead, I felt his presence withdrawing.

"Break the seal, old friend"

Panicking, I reach out to his presence, still confused and wanting out of the void. "What seal? Moustache face?!"

Suddenly I feel as if I am being pulled into the void as the air around me decreases I hear the familiar sound of ringing. No, not again, it couldn't be. Lucy inhales sharply as she sits up, almost panting for air as her alarm rings. Her brown eyes filled with exhaustion and panic. "Another nightmare, that's the fourth time this week."
