Lisanna watches silently as Lucy walks into the guild with a small frown on her face. She looks exhausted, yet somehow she manages to dodge every attack thrown her way, even the ones she was just in the crossfire for. Since the Grand Magic Games, the guild had been torn in two, some who believed Lucy to be strong and a good member of the guild. The other was filled with those who wanted her to leave. Yet Lucy made no complaints. The blonde just smiled and moved on, treating everyone like before.

Lisanna admired her friend for her determination and kindness, but often felt that Lucy was allowing everyone to have power over her. The Takeover mage smiled when Lucy sat down beside her. "Good Morning Lucy," the blonde gave her one of her signature smiles in response before she handed Mirajane her mission slip.

"Finished successfully, I also got a new key"

Mirajane smiled widely and took the slip before serving the girl her usual strawberry smoothie. Lisanna leaned over, giving Lucy her usual puppy eyes. "Oh, what key is it? Can I meet the spirit?" Behind the girl, Bickslow also voices his interest while holding his girlfriend by her waist to stop her from tackling the blonde.

Lucy smiled and nodded before pulling out a diamond key with ancient symbols carved into it. The guild goes silent as they all sense the magical energy coming from the key. Lucy stands up and pushes a small portion of her magic power into the key. Erza watches on in surprise when she notices that Lucy is glowing.

Lisanna's eyes widen as the magic energy from the key seems to merge with the guild's celestial spirit mage. Lucy smiles once she feels the connection forming enough for her to open a gate. Her eyes open as the magic circle forms under her. Oddly enough, her usual words change, yet the blonde does not question it.

"I am linked to the path to the world of Celestial Spirits and the Heavenly Plane, now! O spirit, answer my call and pass through the gate!"

The light that erupts from the key causes many to look away, and finally, when it fades, Lisanna's eyes widen. The woman in front of Lucy is incredibly tall. Her hair was a mix of white and silver pulled back into a high ponytail. Her body was covered in armour of silver, white, and blue. In her hand, she clutched a large box and a quiver full of arrows was on her back.

The guild marvelled at the spirit as her lavender eyes landed on Lucy. "I am the Goddess Artemis. Is it you who summons me?" Lucy smiled gently and nodded. "Yes, I am Lucy Heartfilia. I am honoured to hold a god key. Would you like to enter a contract with me?"

Erza's eyes widened upon hearing who the spirit was, and she gently pulled Lisanna and Bickslow back. Lucy had once told her of the god keys thought to be destroyed and how much power it took to wield. Yet here Lucy stood wielding one of the keys of legend. Her hands shook as she watched the scene.

"Lucy has summoned a God"

The guild looked in shock as the woman smiled. "I see your heart and I have heard of your treatment of spirits. You, Lucy Heartfilia, I deem you worthy to have my key." Lucy smiled and thanked the woman before pulling out her notebook. "What days would you like off?" The goddess laughed and "We god keys are different. We become one with our holders. Once you accept the bond, my key will merge with you. When you die we shall return to the Heavenly plane until we are ready for someone to wield our key again"

Lucy nodded and bowed. "Then it is my honour to be your holder." The guild watched as Artemis kissed Lucy's head and the blonde tensed before relaxing as all the knowledge about her newest key filled her mind. Lucy smiles and nods as Artemis vanishes. The guild watched as the key glowed and seemed to enter Lucy's body.

The Blonde smiles and sits beside Lisanna once again as the guild starts celebrating her newest acquisition. Lucy being in their guild meant they now had an actual god in their guild. As they rejoiced, Lucy rolled her eyes and finished her smoothie.

Suddenly she felt a familiar magic presence on her right "What do you want, Natsu?" The fire dragon slayer smirked and leaned over to the blonde. I guess I can no longer call you weak Luce. Now you can contribute to the guild. The blonde sat up and turned fully to the dragon slayer, her eyes glowing softly. "Go away Salamander"

Lucy then turned and continued speaking to Lisanna and Bickslow, ignoring his presence. Natsu glared at the blonde before storming off. She slowly relaxed when she heard him reach far enough. The fire dragon slayer had stopped being her partner after the dragon incident. He had found her to be weak and made it very clear to her for months.

So much so that other guild mates had jumped on the bandwagon, some of the same ones who had called her weak were now celebrating the power of her new key. They were hypocrites, and it annoyed her very much, so much so that the blonde was contemplating leaving. However, she did not want to leave her chosen family behind.

As the Blonde silently contemplated, Wendy approached her and discretely started healing the blonde. She noted how the blonde had walked in looking as if she had not slept in days and was very concerned, but Carla had told her that the situation was not something they could stop. She had assumed that the exceed had one of her premotions but said nothing on the matter.

Wendy had just finished her healing when Lucy stood and gave her a tight hug "I should go home I am extremely tired" Wendy watched as the blonde slowly made her way to the door. She moved to follow the blonde when she heard Natsu shout.

"Fire Dragon Roar" Hearing that she jumped in Lucy's direction blocking the attack with one of her own when Laxus's Lightening struck Natsu down. Lucy turned and gave them a large smile before leaving. Wendy turns to Natsu's fallen form and rolls her eyes before following Lucy. She could not help but be worried about the blonde after all she saw the older woman as a big sister and it was clear the blonde was not taking care of herself.
