Chapter__3

~Rose~

After he had saved me, I got nervous because well, that's my new boss. Yes, that is holding me.

So I said the first thing that came to my mind, "Um... thanks for catching me. But I have to get going, or I'll be late for work. So umm, bye."

And with that, I walked away into the building. Hopefully, I don't get to show Tyler around because that would be so awkward if I did.

I see Mr.Lambert walking towards me. "Good morning Rose."

"Morning, Mr.Lambert."

"I have to go to a meeting with Mr.Tipton. In about fifteen minutes, so you will have to show Tyler around for me."

"Okay. Just have Tyler meet me in my office."

"That seems fine. Oh, here, Mr. Tipton is right now, so if you will excuse me."

I got into the personal lift, just for the boss and his p.a., heading up to the fiftieth floor. It takes about half the time to get up there then the other ones.

Walking to my office, I decided to keep the blinds down; I have a glass wall on both sides of my room so I can see when people come in. And I can see the view of New York so I won't see him till I have to.

Sitting down in my chair, I get right to work on some papers on my desk that was leftover from yesterday. A couple of minutes later, I hear a "ding" and some voices.

'Oh, great.' I think while waiting for Tyl- I mean Mr.Lambert. I am checking on what I have to do before its time.

-time skip-

It's now lunch, and I haven't seen him. The good news is that I only halfway to go on my work. I want to go home and be lazy. That right, lazy as in LAZY! I will order pizza and watch Once Upon A Time.

'Where is that stupid thing' I thought as I try to figure out where I put my cell phone. I found it in my desk drawer.

"A box of clothes

Some written notes

Is all I have left now

She closed the door

No turning back

This time it is clear now.

Forgotten words and hopeless heard

All left in the past now.

Maybe it's for the best

'Where is that stupid thing' I thought as I try to figure out where I put my cell phone. I found it in my desk drawer.

"Hey, Rose!"

"Hey, Lissa, what's up?"

"Nothing moving into my new office. So you ready for lunch?"

"Yeah, I'll meet you there in about ten."

"All right, bye."

"See ya."

Walking to Danny's, I found out that that I haven't been there for a long time. The last time I've been there is in a couple of weeks or so. Lissa and I have been coming here since we moved to New York. I see Lissa waiting for me outside.
