"You ready to go?" asked Bryan, who had been waiting for me for about 30 minutes now. I hadn't packed all my make-up yet, I was too busy to figure out what pair of pajamas was the cutest. I ended up with a nighty in light blue silk that I got from Melissa. She had a thing for silk.
"Coming!" I yelled from the bathroom. My brushes were thrown in the big toilet bag together with all my eyeshadow pallets, mascaras, concealers, face-masks and lipsticks. I took everything with me just so I wouldn't seem weird when someone asked for a specific colour eyeshadow and I didn't have it. Embarrassing.
"We're already late. And we shouldn't stay at the dorms too long. We've got a long day ahead of us tomorrow." Bryan yelled. He only packed chips, dip and extra clothes if he needed to change. Apparently the guys were watching football and eating bbq food. Seemed fun too. But a girly night with the girls was just what I needed.
I rushed out of the bathroom in my nighty, grabbed all my makeup bags and got my shoes and jacket. Bryan looked at me and smiled.
"What?" I asked and laughed.
"You look extremely cute in that night-dress, Liz." he said. I couldn't help but blush. Even though he saw me in it yesterday he kept complimenting it and me. That was a thing I loved about Bryan, he just couldn't but compliment people.
I kissed his cheek as a "thanks you" and went with him outside to the car.
"What are we doing tomorrow?" I asked nervous. Bryan stopped and looked at me with his "serious-eyes".
"You're kidding right?" he then asked. As if I was joking. But really, I was just forgetful.
"No, sorry, I looked at the schedule this morning, but I forgot." I said and giggled, trying to make a joke out of it. Bryan chuckled a little too, but not as much as he used to. Maybe he was tired? Or just a little annoyed of my forgetfulness. And who could blame him? It was pretty annoying to me too. Bryan sighed.
"We're going to the Animal Kingdom Park tomorrow to walk around and take photos with the kids and families. Remember?" he asked and opened the car-door.
"Oh, yeah, I remember now." how could I forget that? Such an easy thing to remember! Bryan then laughed for real. 'Guess he was cheering up now.
"That means that we could see Allan." I said and went inside the car, buckled my seatbelt and threw my make-up bags on the passenger seat.
"Well... yeah, but you do know that you're not aloud to go out of character and talk to him like you normally do, right?" Bryan said. I nodded. "It would actually be for the best if we tried to steer away from him if it's necessary." he then added. It seemed unnecessary, but I understood what Bryan meant.
"Yeah, you're probably right." I then said so he knew I understood.
"But hey, we'll have a new companion tomorrow." He then said to cheer me up. I looked at Bryan.
"Instead of it's just the two of us walking around, we'll have a Terk with us." he informed. A Terk?
"Cool!" I squealed. Bryan started the car and drove out of the parking lot.
"You'll probably meet the girl who'll be in the suit in the dorm. Her name is May." Bryan said.
"How do you know she'll be there? I mean, I thought it was only the Disney girls who was invited." I asked.
"Yeah, well she's good friends with Sam. You remember Sam, right?" Of course I did. How could I forget? She was the new Cinderella. She was already so beautiful, tall and all in all super perfect. And it didn't help that she was getting all "touchy" with my boyfriend, even though she had her own.
"Yeah..." I mumbled. We drove for a few minutes in silence before we were there. He parked outside the dorms.
"Okay, Deuce's dorm is on the right, where's Allison's dorm?" Bryan asked. I thought for a second.
"Right, as well." I said. Bryan smiled. He went outside and grabbed his bag with chips and dip-mix. And I followed him only to grab all my make-up bags. He then locked the door and took my hand.
We rang Deuce's dorm first so he could open. It was unnecessary that we called to dorm rooms if one of them would open anyway.
"Yeah?" he said from the little speaker.
"Deuce? It's Bryan." Bryan said and looked at me. I could tell he was a little nervous. He hadn't been spending much time with the other guys from work. I gently squeezed his hand to show support.
"Bryan? Yo, my man! You came! Got the chips and dip-mix?" Deuce almost yelled.
"Yeah," Bryan said.
"Awesome, dude!" Deuce said. For a guy playing Prince Philip, he seemed like such a lad. He then opened the door and we went inside. Deuce's dorm was up the stairs and then turning to the left. Luckily Allison's dorm was only two dorms next to his, so we didn't have to go alone. Before knocking on Deuce's door, Bryan kissed me. I had missed kissing him.
"If you need anything or feel like going home, then just call or text me, okay?" he then said. I nodded.
"Same to you, but I'm sure you'll be fine." I insured. Now Bryan was the one nodding. He kissed me one last time before knocking on Deuce's door.
A tall guy in a basketball shirt opened the door. Rock music blasted out of the door together with boys yelling and cursing about the game on the big TV.
"What's up, Bryan? Haven't seen you in forever!" he said and pulled Bryan inside the room. "Sorry, girly, but boys only." he said and smiled.
"Oh don't worry, I got my own things to do too." I joked. The boy smiled and closed the door. I took a deep breath and went over to Allison's dorm. I knocked on the door three times before Emma opened the door.
I couldn't recognize her first 'cause I was used to the bright red wig and seashell bra, but Emma was actually blonde. Very blonde actually.
"You made it!" she said and pulled me inside the room, just like the boy from Deuce's dorm had done with Bryan.
The air inside Allison's room was thick and smelled like baby powder and Victoria's Secret-perfume. The stereo in the corner blasted Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack". Was I confused? Yes. I didn't have a problem with JT, I loved him. But I thought the girls would be playing more girly music like Taylor Swift or old Miley Cyrus music.
Allison saw me and jumped off her bed.
"Lizzie! You came!" she said and gave me a big hug. She then turned around to all the other girls. "Girls, this is our new Jane Porter that I've been talking so much about!" she announced and the group of girls started cheering. They all sat in a circle and braided each others hair. It looked so cliché, but extremely cozy.
I then saw Sam, we had eye contact and she just kept smiling at me. I really should smile back, but I don't know why I didn't do. I mean, it was the polite thing to do, even though I was suspicious about her.
"Hi everyone," I then said and waved. Allison then saw all my bags.
"What did you bring? A whole Sephora store?" she joked. I chuckled.
"Yeah, I guess I did bring a lot of make-up." I joked.
"Come on, let's girl-talk!" squealed Emma and rushed over to the big pile of pillows beside Allison's bed.
