The witch eyed Snow White as she rushes to the sink to get her some water. Her chapped lips turns into a wicked smile as she begins polishing the red apple she had in hand. Making sure the gleam manage to fool the young lady even though it was slightly bruised from having the apple fall out of her hands because of some meddling forest creatures.
The fair maiden paced around the kitchen steadily, fully unaware of the wicked woman's plans. She then brought inside the old woman's basket, alongside with it's content neatly arranged before placing it besides the old woman's chair. She smiled, and the witch returns it.
The water boils and then the sound of the kettle's scream was heard across the room. Snow White went to the stove and then turn off the fire before proceeding to make the old woman some warm beverage to help her settle down. After a couple of minutes passed by, she returned back to the elderly with a tray. On the tray was a cup of tempered warm milk tea.
"Please, make yourself comfortable granny." Snow White politely placed the cup and saucer in the woman's wrinkled hands.
"Thank you, young child." The witch chirped even though her heart was filled with hatred as the word rolls out of her mouth.
With a long gulp, she finishes the tea before placing it back onto the Snow White's hands and then the fair maiden put it away. The witch then proceeds with her plan, and took out the red apple from one of her sleeves.
"Because you've been so good to poor old granny, I'll share a secret with you...."
The old woman stood up, causing Snow White to back away a little to give her some space. The witch then present her the red apple.
"This is no ordinary apple, it's a magic wishing apple..."
"A wishing apple?" Snow White asked with wonderment. The witch smirked. "Yes! One bite, and all your dreams will come true."
"Really?"
"Yes, girl! Now make a wish and take a bite."
"But, I can't accept such meaningful gift! I've only done so little to help you."
"Oh, but there must be something that your heart desires. Perhaps a someone you love?"
Snow White looked hesitant. "Well, there is someone..."
If its possible for the witch's grin to grow bigger, it would. "Oh, I thought so! I thought so! Ohohoho. Old granny knows a young girl's heart. Now take care of it for me dearie, and make a wish.."
Snow White eyed the apple, but then pushed it back into the woman's wrinkled hands. "I appreciate the thought, but I can't accept such a treasure."
The witch's smile turned upside down and was alarmed. "But don't you wish for him to be yours?"
