sending "regards"

We are stifled beneath the name of our beliefs.  Where we place our faith is the deciding factor of who we are to become in the minds of others.  Suffocating through lips sewn together- unable to question words written, re-written, burned, and re-created once again from the ashes of its former self.  We place trust not in science but in a being all powerful.  A being whose existence we are never aware of.  We bless individuals, sending prayers to the heavens for those in a time of need.  Those without the same beliefs as our own, we damn to an eternity in a fiery pit.  When differences are found within the human form, we ask God to "fix his mistakes".  Yet God can not make mistakes.

When unholy decisions are made, we beg God to forgive the sins we have committed.  When a life is created, we ask God for guidance.  When something is out of our hands, we plead to God for him to take control.  Yet every cry for help we send out to this all powerful thing we refer to as God, how many of those prayers go unanswered? An easier question may be, how many please go answered?

How many times have we wept holy water from eyes blessed with the gift of vision?

How many times did we question his existence, for good reason, resulted in guilt pouring into our cores?

How many times has one of his own children cried out in the purest form of agony only to receive nothing?

What must we do for our holy creator to notice us? Take pity on us? Fix us?
Nothing. For we shall fix ourselves.  We shall empathize and sympathize for one another along with out own internal selves.  We will notice us, take interest in us, provide attention for us.  We are important beings, with God's observation or not.
