13. The truth

Baekhyun;
Any plans for lunch today?

Chanyeol;
No, I'm actually free for lunch. Want to grab some with me?

Baekhyun;
Sure^^

Chanyeol;
Okay, my lunch is around twelve thirty. See you then :)

Baekhyun smiled as he placed his phone down beside him. Today was the day he would finally tell Chanyeol about his gift. 

With this shadow lurking around, baekhyun hopes Chanyeol will stay to help him through it even though he's not sure with what he should do.

Baekhyun made his way to his closet to pick out his outfit for later, even though he had plenty of time to kill. 

After picking something out and leaving it on the bed he headed to the living room to watch a bit of tv.

After switching the tv on, Baekhyun sat back and just stared at the tv, slowly getting lost in his thoughts as he thought of different ways to tell Chanyeol. 

Should he slowly ease into it or just go out and say everything?

As he thought, he ended up falling asleep.

Baekhyun walked through the doors of the restaurant Chanyeol was working at. He glanced around and spotted the boy taking someone's order.

He stood by the entrance and waited. "You're baekhyun right?" The said boy looked to his left to see a tall handsome blond.

"Yes.. Who are you?" Baekhyun asked as he gave him a questioning look.

"I'm Sehun, a friend of Chanyeol's. I'll go call him." Sehun flashed him a smile before heading over to Chanyeol.

He watched Sehun pat Chanyeol on the back and point in Baekhyun's direction.

Chanyeol instantly smiled once his eyes met baekhyun's. He patted sehun's back before walking towards baekhyun.

"You're here, let me just grab my stuff and we'll go." Baekhyun gave him a nod.

Soon after, the two arrived at a small restaurant. Once they found a table, the two sat across from each other.

"How was your day? You had to babysit again right?" Chanyeol was the first to speak. 

"Mine was good and yes, Namjoon went to work while Jin did some errands. The boys miss you, you know." He chuckled, causing Chanyeol to do the same.

"What about you?" Baekhyun placed the menu down after he figured what he was going to order.

Chanyeol simply shrugged. "Normal day, dealing with good and annoying customers."

The table was silent till the waiter had come by, taking their order. 

Baekhyun had a weird feeling and he couldn't explain it.

"Chanyeol.. you remember the other day when I told you I wanted to tell you something but I'd tell you later instead?" Baekhyun asked nervously.
