I'm a person filled with joy from the inside
This is not an "I'm okay" act, I promise.
But there are these moments when I feel quite blue
And these moments just appear out of the blue.
It usually comes when I have few things on my plate
You know, those times you get to be idle for the day.
It also always comes with a nauseous feeling
Which brings me to pray for healing.
But these are time when I realize to be grateful
For the joy and peace He continually gives.
And these are the times I feel empathy for the lonely
Because somehow, I know a bit of how it feels.
I then ask God to fill my heart with love
And to not just have momentary compassion.
But instead, reach out to those who feel alone
And introduce them to the One Who'll never leave them.
