Being an Athlete

I wake up every moring to watch Sports Center. I cheer and shout during a game. I watch every second of every game I like. I am mad when my team loses.

          I am an athlete.

I put the touch in down. I make sure to get the ball through the two yellow poles during a field goal. I think it is weird when quarterbacks say go instead of hike. I know that the ball will go farther if it goes in a spiral.

          I am an athlete.

I could catch a guy stealing with out the ball touching the ground. I wish I could have Tommy John surgery so I can throw the ball faster. I have been playing baseball for 6 years now.

          I am an athlete.

I can’t quit hit a home run yet, but can hit the ball to the fence. I am a good sport and won’t cry if I strike out.

          I am an athlete.

I put the slam in dunk. When a guy is breaking down the court, I scream, and when he goes for the lay-up and misses, I awwwww.

          I am an athlete.

I can’t quite dunk yet, but can make a three pointer.

          I am an athlete.
