THEO'S POV

"What a peculiar scene." sabi ko kay Milo nang pauwi na kami matapos ang practice.

And by the way, we don't call him Daryl, we call him Milo (as in Mee-low) ever since we were in grade school.

"Pare, let me explain. In the first place I had no choice, busy ka kanina habang sinusukatan para sa costumes. Si Sean naman kasama si Page and yung team na assigned for audio effects. I was stuck with Bullet kasi kailangan niya akong turuan ng fighting poses niya. And then naging friendly conversations na. She's not as bad as you think." paliwanag ni Milo.

"Ganyan din ang sinabi ni Sean noon eh. Inulit mo lang. Talaga bang madali kayong nauto ng mga babeng yun?! Once you act chummy with them they'll think you're losers. Baka pinagtatawanan na kayo ngayon dahil madali nila kayong napaikot."

"Hey dude, I don't know about Page but Bullet's sincere for sure. Yung nangyari kanina dehado ako eh, muntik na akong mapagalitan because of my pride, and when she was actually teaching me, even when I made mistakes she never got mad. And I know you'll never act like that with your enemy. If I was her I wouldn't even bother teaching my nemesis but rather watch in delight while he or she is being reprimanded." sagot ni Milo.

Inaamin ko may point siya doon sa sinabi niya. Hindi ako nakasagot dahil nga may sense ang sinabi niya. But it made me think why. Why would she do that to Milo considering she seemed to be the most hot tempered among them? Why would she even bother helping Milo? What's her motive?

"Fine, just be careful and don't trust them too much. They're considered Femme Fatale after all. But don't expect me to act chummy with them like you guys." sagot ko. Pero sa kaloob looban ko, I told myself to put them under observation.

Kinabukasan, dumating na yung mga costumes na gagamitin namin. I was surprised by how fast Kensie's designers and seamstresses work. Kahapon lang they were getting our measurements and now tapos na lahat, and with all the small details like props too. Pero hindi ko pinakitang nagulat ako. I need to keep my cool.

"Whoa ang bilis naman, overnight lang nandito na ang costumes?" sabi ni Milo.

"Of course! I asked the whole factory workers to make them." sagot ni Kensie.

"I was talking to myself, biro mo may sumagot." -Milo

Inirapan lang ni Kensie si Milo.

"Just shut up for once will you?" inis na sabi ni Bullet. See? She's the most hot-tempered of the three, so why would she bother teaching Milo?

After madistibute lahat ng costumes, nagpractice na kaming lahat. This time, scene namin ni Kensie. It was awkward...I was awkward rather. I mean Kensie is a good actress after all.  Kahit na magkaaway kami, she does her thing well. Pero di ko maiwasan na maging awkward kasi nga, we're enemies. How would you expect me to act lovey-dovey with her? Even just mere eye-contact with her makes me cringe from head to toe.

"You're so stiff. Ang boring mo namang ka-eksena. Wala kang expressions, walang gestures, and you even sound like a robot when you throw your lines. Dapat ang role mo na lang eh puno sa background baka sakaling palakpakan ka pa ng mga manonood." sabi i Kensie.

I admit she's right. Dahil sa awkwardness pangit tuloy ang naging performance ko kahit na practice lang. The truth hurts. But why would I admit it in front of her face? Ako si Theo Stone Robins, ako ang presidente ng Student Council, bakit ako magpapatalo sa isang babae?
