Everyone thinks my life is great almost perfect, I would have agreed before. I had great friends, a boyfriend and a loving family, but some things don't stay the same. My boyfriend of a year and a half dumped me, I moved to a new state away from my friends for the summer and my family began to argue. The only thing that stayed consistent were my hobbies: writing and drawing. Until one day drawing gave me a realization. Underneath my ‘good life’ and happy personality lived a girl, who was scarred, bruised and abused.
I never really saw myself till that day, but for you to understand, I'll explain from the beginning.
