Christine's POV
He took me down here to this place of horrid darkness. I have hated this place since the first day he brought me here. After the performance of Don Juan, he basically proposed to me.

Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime
Lead me, save me from my solitude
Say you want me with you here beside you

Anywhere you go let me go too
It keeps playing in my head and I feel so terrified by the look of his lair.

Raoul's POV
When that ugly beast took my fiance, I looked for every opening I could find to see where that monster look my lottie. I turn around to hear ," Come monsieur I know where they are but we must hurry or we shall be too late!" I didn't know of I can trust this woman just yet. "How can I trust you?" I ask?
"You must. But remember keep your hand at the level of your eyes." What was that supposed to mean? " why?"
She looks at me as if I was stupid. "Why? The Punjab lasso, monsieur. First Buquet. Now Piangi." Then at that point Meg runs up and says, "like this monsieur. I'll go with you."
Then Madame Giry took me to the lair which I now resent.

Christine's POV
As the phantom was taking me to his lair, he sings with hatred toward me "Down once more to the dungeon of my black despair! Down we plunge to the prison of my mind! Down that path into darkness deep as hell!" I didn't understand this. But I realized that he was referring to his lair as hell. My heart slowly starts to break.
"Why, you ask, was I bound and chained in this cold and dismal place? Not for any mortal sin, but the wickedness of my abhorrent face!
Hounded out by everyone! Met with hatred everywhere! No kind word from anyone! No compassion anywhere! Christine, Christine. Why, why.?"
As he takes me further down the lair I hear the echo of the mob.
Raoul's POV
I am determined to find my lottie when I see a lake. "He lives across the lake monsieur. This is as far as I dare go." Man this woman is really wierd. I find a boat and I row myself across the lake to my lottie.

Christine's POV
"Have you gorged yourself at last, in your lust for blood?
Am I now to be prey to your lust for flesh?"
This man was starting to get on my nerves and so I finally get a response from him.
"That fate, which condemns me to wallow in blood has also denied me the joys of the flesh. this face -the infection which poisons our love. That fate, which condemns me to wallow in blood has also denied me the joys of the flesh. this face -the infection which poisons our love.Pity comes too late -turn around and face your fate: an eternity of this before your eyes!
I felt nothing but sadness when he was telling me all of this so before he thought I was a mean unthoughtful person, I responded with.
"This haunted face holds no horror for me now. It's in your soul that the true distortion lies." Right when I thought we were having a moment, I see the phantom look up and say, "Wait! I think, my dear, we have a guest!" I turn around to see Raoul standing there and I scream his name. But after I screamed his name Erik continued,"Sir, this is indeed an unparalleled delight! I had rather hoped that you would come. And now my wish comes true -you have truly made my night!"
Free her! Do what you like only free her! Have you no pity?

Your lover makes a passionate plea!

I didn't want Raoul to get into harms way so I said,
Please, Raoul, it's useless.
But nobody around here listens to me so of course he continues with
I love her! Does that mean nothing? I love her! Show some compassion.

THE WORLD SHOWED NO COMPASSION TO ME.

LET ME SEE HER.

BE MY GUEST, SIR.

I was so shocked at how this has escalated and next thing I knew Raoul is there comforting me.

Monsieur, I bid you welcome! Did you think that I would harm her? Why should I make her pay for the sins which are yours?
When I look up I see Erik put the Punjab lasso around Raoul's neck.
