Apple Jack and Fire Buck- MLP FIM fanfiction

Summer evening-

It was a warm, dry summer evening. The day before school broke up for the holidays.

The apples in the west field were at there ripest and were ready to be picked. There was a sceant of apple pies in the air and Apple Bloom was hungry!

"Are ya done yet?" she asked, rather bored.

"Not quite yet darling, i havent fixed that ribbon on yet!"

Rarity had come over to Sweet Apple Acres to help fix Apple blooms dress for the town dance.

"But i didn't want ribbons!"

"Apple Bloom!!" exclamed Apple Jack" Y'all should be grateful for what Rarity is doing for you,"

"No, no its quite alwright. I rather enjoy dress making, and anyway she did say she didn't want ribbons, really its fine,"said Rarity.

"All right then, sugar cube but if y'all dont mind im gonna go over to Sugar Cube Corner. Pinkie wants me for somethin'."

Off went Apple Jack. down the lane to sugar Cube Corner. She paused at the front door and hesitated as she saw a tall stallion with a dark green coat, chestnut brown hair and the biggest deepest brown eyes that seemed to sparkle as he looked at her. He said in a dreamy voice "ladys first,"

"Well I..i" she giggled then cleared her throat. " t..thanks" and she trotted in through the doors squeeling with joy under her breath.

Then suddenly she was abruptly shaken into real life

"HIYA APPLE JACK!!" a pink curly haired pony jumped up and landed on her. THUD*

"oh hi pinkiepie, haha didnt see ya coming."

"Yeah! you looked all dazed when you walked in! gummy's a doctor now" she pulled out gummy from behind her back. He was dressed in a rather funny looking doctors costume, pinkie continued " he told me that all you need to cure being dazed is a cupcake!!

" Haha Pinkie i dont need no cupcake, im just fine" she smirked and glanced behind her back to see if the stallion had walked in. He was sitting at a table now, talking to Mrs. Cake about apple cupcakes.

"oh my goodness he likes apples!" thought Apple Jack.

She suddenly snapped out of her thoughts.

"sooo.. yeah p..ppinkie what did ya want me for?"

"OOOH yeah!!!" exclamed pinkie, " could you pleasssseeee please pretty please help me to make some apple pies and maybe some cider for the town dance tommorow?! The kids are all super duper excited about it and i have been given the job of the food and drinks!" she said.

oh.. sure sugarcube i would do anything to help. She looked over at the stallion just as he bit into a big juicy pie.

"great!!! i knew i could count on you

AJ!!!" she shouted.

Later on-

Apple Jack stumbled into Sugar Cube Corner with a cart of apples.

she looked around to see if the stallion was there again but no.

"Hi Apple Jack! have ya got the apples?! " she asked.

"Yeah i got em heh...

"well look at theese bad boys!"

pinkie revealed a batch of newly baked cupcakes.

"wow pinkie! those cupcakes look mighty fine!"

"They sure do," said pinkie pie looking at the apples. "do you wanna put the apple slices on?!"

"yeah!! that woul..." apple jack was stopped by a furmilliar figure at the door.

"hiya pinkie! just stopping by to see if you needed help!"

It was the stallion!!

"Oh yeah!" said pinkiepie.

"Apple jack this is Fire Buck,

he harvests and bucks apples too in appeloosa!

Apple jack looked down and saw his cutiemark was indeed a green apple with flames around it.

"well nice to meet ya" he said kissing her hooves in a gentleman fashion.

Applejack blushed and giggled again.

"No sorry Fire Buck. We were just leaving anyways!" said pinkepie.

"well then I'd best be off he said. Ill be at the dance tomorrow if you want me." he said.
