The night was cold, the moon was full. Icarna ran with her pack, hunting the invaders. "Why do they seek these crystals so badly?" asked Geiva. "I don't know, but they are in our territory, we must rid of them."said Ty "Humans have such unstable natures. They are always killing, and always hunting, they clear the jungles before anyone else can hunt, they are greedy and selfish!" screamed Geiva. " They may be selfish, but are we not barbaric too? We speak of them as enemies, but why not make peace?" Spoke Icarna."Quiet, we grow near!" shouted Glave. Icarna ran with Geiva, Ty, and Glave. They were all born into the main family. They were friends as kids, but grew into siblings as adults. Although they did not share any blood relation, they called each other brothers and sisters.
In the camp, koshka cried. There was screaming and yelling, terror and distress. "Little Koshka, I am here with you, don't be afraid. Everything will be alright." Koshka smiled at her mother and laughed, bringing joy in the room. Her mother said "I love you," and left the hut. Koshka fell asleep.
Icarna reached the rondevu point. The mining quarry was large, good thing she was not alone. Not only did she have her best friends with her, she knew that other Grangors were hidden among the bushes. Almost all the troops were sent to this location. Slowly studying the humans, Ty created a plan. "Me and Geiva will head around back. Glaive, you have more brute strength so I need you to take the enemy head on. Icarna, stay hidden until given the signal. Once I give the signal, run for the mines but stay hidden. Glave will be out in the open stacking the bodies in the bushes to the right, if anyone else comes, Geiva and I will jump them. Same with you Icarna" Everyone nodded and went to their positions. Glavie was walking towards one of the human workers. For such a big creature they stayed surprisingly hidden, even in plain sight. Glaive executed the man with one big swing of his arm, along with his allies. The plan was going well. Then the other grangors arrived. They executed the plan swiftly and quietly. Glavie was too barbaric and harsh. The plans had changed, but it was played quicker. We took down the first few yards of mines and moved on to the next. Occasionally there would be cries of agony and screams of terror. The brutes took care of them. They only left the children, and some of the women alive. Icarna had helped burn down the rest of the human camp. She did not approve, but what must be done, must be done. Icarna heard crying coming from a burning house. She had seen that the baby's mother was dead and she was alone. Icarna took the baby and said "you'll be alright, I'm here with you." She desperately looked for something to calm the child down. Icarna reached for a bottle in the carriage the baby was in. The bottle had letters written on it. The letters spelled out a name, the name Koshka. "So this is your Name? Koshka." the baby stopped crying. Icarna left the hut. They were in the smoke. Icarna was was afraid of her being exiled in her colony but she brought her along anyways. Most of the colony was humble, so there should not be much to worry about. Icarna could not be seen holding a baby. A warrior holding a human child. Not the best of sounds. Koshka looked up at Icarna, her eyes watery and big, but with a smile. This girl though Icarna was her mother. The thought made Icarna's heart warm. She always wanted a child, but Icarna was infertile. At this moment Icarna knew she would raize Koshka as her own. She would take care, feed and love the baby girl. She would protect her from dangers, and teach her to be the danger. Koshka would be her child.
