"I knew there was something between you two. I just thought you liked each other, I didn't think you were actually dating!"

"Okay, okay! We get it, mum! No need to get after us!"

"Don't you give me that attitude, young man!"

"I'm older than you!"

"Both of you just shut up," Katherine exclaimed as she rolled her eyes at me and Calum.

"Look Alex, we know that we shouldn't have done this, but we knew you guys would react like this!"

"She's right, you know," Calum  nodded, agreeing with Katherine."

"Oh of course you'd agree with her! You two are dating, for goodness sakes!"

Alex shook her head. "You know what? Fine. You guys are dating and I'm gonna need to accept that. Now come on, everyone was looking for you."

"B? You alright? You've been kinda quiet since the waitress left."

"Huh? Oh, right. Um, yeah, I'm alright. Just really hungry."

"Hungry? We just ate, B," Ashton chuckled.

I nervously laughed, not wanting to admit that I was thinking about what the girl had told us.

"Um, yeah! You know me, I'm always hungry. And right now, I'm also curious. Where are all of our friends?"

As soon as I said that, Michael and Sam walked over to us.

"Hey."

"How did your game go? Who won," Ashton asked them.

"Eh." They both shrugged. "It was a tie."

"Oh. Did you guys eat?"

"Yeah. You guys?"

Ash and I nodded.

"Alright, then I guess we should probably be heading back. It's getting late." Said Ashton.

It really wasn't that late, plus it was the weekend, but Ashton had to drop off everyone, so he didn't want anyone getting in trouble for breaking curfew.

"Yeah. Except we can't leave without the rest of our friends. Where are they anyway?"

"I don't know. Let me text Katherine," replied Samantha.

After minutes of waiting, Katherine, Alex, and Calum came over to us.

"Finally! Now let's go!"

The car was crowded, as always, but Ash always let me go in the passenger seat, since my house was the last stop every time.

"Stop it!"

"I'm not doing anything! What am I doing?"

"You're breathing that's what you're doing!"
