Hello, I am @GiveMeNarryPls_ and I decided, because all the madness tonight, that I would write my own little documentary about the One Direction fandom aka Directioners.
You see, Channel 4 made us seem like complete and utter psychos tonight and I will not stand for it. We will not stand for it. They're twisting the story and making us into something we're not. We are not crazy teenage girls who stalk the boys 24/7, or try finding them at their houses and hotels. Most of us have never met the boys once, and maybe never will. What they said about us tonight is very upsetting and hurting because we aren't any of those things.
Do you want to know what Directioners are? We're dedicated. Loving. Supportive. Funny. We're all that and so much more. Most of us respect the boys and would do anything for them.
I think Channel 4 forget to mention that those 5 boys, have not only saved lives, but brought a new happiness into millions of lives as well.
If you think even for a second that we're all just weird and crazy, then think again. We truly are the best fans. We stand up for the boys and what we believe in. Yes, if someone steps out of line, we'll most definitely let them know. We can be rude but it's for the love of our idols. We love them so much, we're willing to get into arguments and ruin freindships just to make sure no one gets the wrong idea of our boys.
Also, we do not stalk them. Most of us can't even get with in a few hundred feet of them. Do you really want to know what we do? We sit. We sit all day, everyday on our computers and phones to tell stories, share our fantasies, make jokes, communicate with the boys, talk with each other, and just enjoy the fact that all of us are there for those 5 boys and loving them is something we all have in common.
Do you even know how many friends I've made because of One Direction? Tons. I have so many more internet friends than I do in real life. Because the people on Twitter understand me. They listen. They don't blow me off like everybody else. They truly are my family and I love every one of them so much. I've never met them but you better believe that I will ALWAYS be here if they need me.
Now, maybe, just maybe, you can see what being a Directioner is really all about. We spend countless hours voting for the boys, making sure they win the awards that they deserve. If that doesn't show dedication, then I don't know what does.
And I don't know what a follow would mean to those girls in the Documentary, but to me and millions of others, it would mean more than anyone could ever know.
I'm going to end my mini documentary here and let you figure out what you think about One Direction fans now. Channel 4 was so very wrong about us, it's kind of unsettling.
I also hope they're happy because some lives have been taken because of this.
