I walk into the cafeteria and in my head everything pauses. Except for the guy I like. I walk up to him asking him if he would like to go out on a date, and he says, " Sure how is the movies at nine?" In my head I was slowly pondering If his friends would be there. He is that one popular dude in a school that can say something stupid and every body thinks that those were his most inspiring words. I walk off to my friends Alecia and Tyrone sitting at the table right by the sophomore hallway.
Alecia is a smart black haired girl who loves sports and fashion.
Tyrone is a gay guy who loves fashion and is boy crazy.
Me on the other hand- Nichole James
I am the one who loves rapping music, is a country girl, and doesn't care what anybody thinks of me or my friends. I don't let anybody boss me around and I fight my own battles.
Tyrone was freaking out when I told him the news I scored a date with Alex Johns.
When I walked into the movie theater it's just me and him sitting in theater twelve in the top right corner taking about our day. Like an old married couple would. When we are finished talking about our days he just keeps staring at me and I try to ignore, but it's like he's glaring in your soul through your eyes. I'm not even looking him in the eyes he stares at me for a while longer and then he sighs. " What's wrong," I asked.
Finally he reveals his little secret. it's like he has been wanting me to ask him this the whole entire time. He smiles and just says," I can't believe I'm on a date with Nichole James." I say thank you to him and then he gives me a little wink that makes my heart flutter. The show starts and he reaches for my hand and not a second went
by that I did not enjoy it.
