As you walked down the hallway you turned left at the second room which I kept turning at the third room. "Oops sorry boys?" I said. The first morning I woke up rolling out of bed because everyone decided to start driving while I was asleep!! Once we arrived at our secret spot on the Murray river, we all went kneeboarding; all four of us. I was so tired that I nearly fell asleep on the couch watching a movie. In the morning we all wanted to do different types of activities behind the boat. So Huxley and Rhys went kneeboarding while Nate and I went wakeboarding, but we saw something dangerous! It was a 1.5 meter goanna climbing up a tree!! We all were very hungry by 12 pm so we went upstairs to eat and then we saw it. The GOANNA was aboard the boat! The goanna was a little baby but it was still 1.5 meters long and it had sharp claws. Everyone ran inside and slammed the door. The boys were not that smart as they stayed downstairs. But it was good for us because they tried without avail to get the goanna down. Nate,Huxley and Rhys got very scared. They ran onto the couch and threw the blanket over their heads. Everyone was stuck onboard the houseboat for more than two hours, no one could get off safely! Everyone was getting was searching on Google 'how to get a goanna off a houseboat'. if you were to try and search this, however, it is hard find! The goanna was scratching its claws on the glass, like fingernails scratching down a chalkboard, 'Scratch! "Stop it you stupid goanna," said Huxley. Eventually one of the boys got some chicken and tied it to a rope and threw it up the stairs, surprisingly it worked! "How are we going to keep it off?" said Annette. "We will take some leftover food in to the trees and let it eat as much as it wants. Hopefully it does not come back!" said Justin. We kept seeing the goanna around where we were sitting everyone was frightened! It was okay though after all of that because we enjoyed our holiday and did not see it much!!!!!
