I scream and yell at the top of my lungs. My head can't move so I can barely see what's happening. Is Chase getting hurt? Amerblia rolls her eyes and kicks me in my shin hoping to shut me up. I'm not going to let this happen.

Amberlia kicks me again and grabs a mini blade. "Shut up or I will cut you," she bends down a bit to hover the blade above my chest.

"Go ahead. I can just heal myself," I try and say confidently. Maybe I can stall her?

She rolls her eyes again. "Then I'll cut you and you little boyfriend."

At first I'm confused because I don't have a boyfriend. And even if I did, how would she even know? Then I realize she's talking about Chase and I can't help but blush. "He's not my boyfriend. And even if you'd try he'd kick your ass."

"Mmmh okay," she says sarcastically. She's confident but I can tell she's bluffing a bit.

Chase throws a troll all the way across the room and it nearly hits Amberlia. I wish it did. He then dashes toward the troll and kicks it out of the tiny window.

Amberlia focuses her attention toward Chase forgetting me. "You know what they say, if you want something to be done right you have to do it yourself," she picks up a bigger blade and runs toward Chase.

He catches her by her arm and pins it behind her back. "Just letting you know, I don't usually fight girls," he throws her away. "And you're not going to beat me no matter how hard you try."

Amberlia shakes it off and runs toward him again. She's not very smart. Chase counters her attack and flips her over behind him. He flips over her dodging her throwing blade. Amberlia is fast and gets up and picks up her blade again and quickly throws it at Chase.

Chases catches the blade like its a tennis ball. He catches it with so much ease, its like he's done it a thousand times before. "Nice try," he smirks and throws it back at her.

The blade hits her in her chest and her blood starts spilling. The blade cut deep. Amberlia's eyes rolls back and she falls to the ground. Her bodies limp and I think she's dead.

Chase rushes over to me and starts to get the metal helmet thing off. "What the hell was she trying to do?"

I would shrug if it wouldn't cause me so much pain. "She said she wants to like question me or something. I don't even know," he gets the helmet off and I can finally lean my head back.

He touches the screws still in my neck. "Please tell me these things aren't screwed in your neck?" He tugs on them slightly.

I bite my lip and look up at him. "They are. Is that a bad thing?" Of course it's a bad thing! Why did you even ask?

"Well it's going to hurt a lot when I take them out," he starts to twist the screws. It feels as if they are little worms in my neck that's just biting at the edges. When he takes them out more blood spills faster this time.

Chase grabs my hands and puts them over my neck where the screws were. I can feel energy going into me. He's giving me some of his energy. He's using energy transfers. Soon, I'm all healed in my neck because of his energy transfer.

Energy transfers are when an Immortal gives some of their energy from their powers and transfers it into another Immortal. It takes the givers energy out and makes them a bit weak for a while. Usually they don't happen because everyone (almost) can control their powers. They usually only happen in battle when someone is wounded or injured.

"Thank you," I say looking up at him.

Chase smiles and his emerald eyes sparkle. He grabs a blade and shoves it in the crack of the cuffs. That loosens the blade and almost gets them off. He gets the rest off with his powers since he can move things with his mind.

When he frees me I hug him and thank him for saving my life once again. "Where are the others?" I face him.

He shrugs. "I don't know but I think I might," he goes to the door and opens it. "Just follow me and stay next to me. I'm not sure if they're still trolls or Hunters here still."

He leads us downstairs through the twisty stairs. So far there's no sign of danger. I feel safe with Chase. He moves so confidently and so skilled, it's like he's been in many battles before. Maybe he has? He doesn't live protected by wards like I do.

We hear Jane yell for help and it's coming from the other room. When we hear, we spring toward them. They're all tied up on a chandelier without any lights. I look up and wonder how it's still supporting all their weight.

"Mind helping?" Jane says with a bit of attitude. They all look fine and un-injured so that's a good sign.

Chase pulls up a chair and drags it below the middle of the chandelier. With his power he makes the chair fly up so now he can untie them. One by one they all jump down. He starts with Jane and finishes with Matthew.

When Claire gets down she's sobbing. Gosh, she's such a faker. "Those were the people who killed my sister," Claire begins to full out cry. Jane gives her a comforting, sisterly hug. I have to admit that Claire puts on a believing act.

Chase shoots me a look like he's about to laugh. He knows the truth just like I do. "Hate to break this up," Matthew says as he walks over to Claire and Jane. "But we have to get the hell out of here."

"Matthew's right. This place can still be infested with trolls and Hunters," Nathan says as he walks over to the doors.

We all lightly jog to the exit. When we get out its night time. Great. We are again surrounded my trees and water and darkness. The only light source we have right now is the moon and stars.

"I know a place we can camp for the night," Lacey leads. She leads us into a small open area in the trees. There's a small stream north and a little ditch south. We all agree on this place and we start doing our normal night routine.

"Are you okay?" Chase whispers as he comes up from behind me.

I nod. "Yeah I'm fine," I look up at him because he's so much taller than me. "What about you Chase?"

He smiles. "As long as your fine I'm fine."

I smile widely like an idiot. I'm not used to people saying stuff like that too me. It makes me feel warm and tingly inside. Like a school girl having her first crush.
