RECAP

Finnick didn't yell back. I looked at my once beautiful couch. He's.... blushing!? Why is he blushing? If anyone should be blushing, it should be me! I'm being forced to marry a guy who hates me because I didn't tell him I had a boyfriend. Plus, I have a finace already. Austin <3.

 "Just go back to Finnick," Austin whispers again. "Another 5 words I thought I never say. If he hurts you, I will hurt him, O.K.?"

"O.K.," I respond as I walk over to the couch with a depressed look on my face. The last thing I wanna do is sit next to *shudders* him. But when I sit down, I sit on the other side of the couch. I hate that Finnick slides from his side to my side. I get up and sit in the arm chair in the corner of the room. I grab my eReader and start reading it, waiting for my mom and Austin to stop fighting. I'm waiting for my answer. I'm waiting to see if I'm marrying the man of my dreams or the man of my nightmares. My life's gonna suck if it's the man of my nightmares.

Finally, after what seems like forever, Austin comes out. I quickly turn off what I'm reading and set it on the table. Austin comes over, kneels next to me, and looks up at me with his adorable bambi eyes.

"Well?" I asked with a smile on my face.

END OF RECAP

Austin looked up at me with a half happy, half sad look on his face. "Well," he began, "You don't have to marry Finnick." My expression brightened up so much I felt like the sun. "But,"-there's always a catch-"You also don't have to marry me." My expression went all moon. "I talked your mother into letting you decide who you want to marry. Bu-"

"Of course I choose you!" I exclaimed. I looked over at Finnick. "Get your sorry ass off my couch before you ruin it." (a/n: That couch has been taking a lot of abuse, isn't it?)

"But,"-again with the catch-"We both decided that you can't decide now. So-"

"My sorry ass and I are staying emo bitch!" Finnick rejoiced.

"Go to fucking hell, dick. I'm not finished," Austin responds. Wow. I thought he forgot. "If you let me finish, I would've told you the catch with her decision." I firetrucking hate catches. (firetruck=f*****uck, by the way) "She will make her decision by the end of this year, meaning, she'll give us who she chooses on January 1st of next year."

"I have less than 2 months to decide who to marry!?" I exclaimed.

"Well, it depends on how it takes you to decide. You don't have to decide by the1st of next year," austin explained.

"Well, how am I supposed to decide?"

"That's for you to decide."

"So, let's get this straight:" Finnick interrupted. "We're having a unstable emo girl who hurts her wrist with a purple hair band decide who she is going to decide?"

"First," Austin responded, "You're the reason she HAS the hair band. Second, you're also the reason why she IS instable. Third, you're also the reason she IS emo. Fourth, it's her life. Shouldn't we let her decide who she's gonna spend it with?" (a/n: To clear things up, Austin is part emo and part normal. So, don't be surprised if he has moments of super depression at any point.)

"... Yeah, you're right. I wouldn't want to see Zuri suffer because her mom is forcing her to marry me," Finnick stated. "Hey Austin?"

"Yeah?"

"How did you afford to go to Jared's?"

"Long story that doesn't need to be said now."

"But I wanna know!"

"Well, too bad."

"LADIES! LADIES!" I screamed. "Who fucking cares how Austin could afford Jared's?" Finnick, Mom, and Austin raised their hands. "Why do you want to know how you afford Jared's, Austin?"

"Honestly, I forgot."

"LIAR!"

"LADIES! LADIES! YOU'RE BOTH PRETTY!"

"Hey! We're not ladies!" Austin and Finnick said in unison.

"Jinx, you owe me a soda!" Austin laughed.

"That's like the 15th soda I owe you!"

"And have you given me them?"

".....no......."

"Exactly."

They act like they're in kindgarten when we're all Juniors here. And I know what you might be thinking. Why are we talking about marriage when we're not even in college? Well, that's a very interesting story:

We live in the town of Crowley Fields down in Kentucky. (a/n: made up city. but i do live in kentucky.) Our town is a lot different than a lot of towns. First, we're a really small town. You know about those cities were everybody knows each other? Well, that's somewhat like our town. Our town only has 1 real "neighborhood." The neighborhood is called Prussia. Prussia is like 1/4 of the town. The rest of the town is mainly familly-owned businesses. We do have some like chain restrurants, but we have, I think, 4. This region is called Estonia. Estonia take up 1/2 of the town. The last 1/4 of the town is called Latvia. Latvia is our way of saying it's our school district. Crowely Fields Latvia Elementary School, Crowley Fields Latvia Middle School, and Crowley Fields Latvia High School. We shorten them to Latvia and which school it is. (ex. Crowley Fields Latvia High School=Lavtia High.)

Anyway, the laws in our town are different. In our town, you're allowed to morry someone if your older than 16 and had at least one parent from the bride and groom's family to approve of the marriage. Luckly, Louise, Austin's mom, already agreed. The video chat that he had with my dad to ask for permission to marry me was so sweet. We just need to my mom's approval if I choose Austin and we'll be on our way.

"Hey Finnick, is it O.K. if I go talk to Austin in my room without you coming up and putting your ear against my door?" I asked Finnick.

"Sure, I guess..." Finnick responded.

I smiled and grabbed Austin's hand. He didn't refuse and followed me. We were already laughing by the time we got upstairs. Once we got into my room, I close my door, locking it, and joining Austin on my love seat couch. It was black and it had handmade skulls all over it. Custom made just for me. I lean my head against his shoulder, inviting his arms to wrap around me to guard me from the evil lint bunnies that might be lurking underneath us. He arms accepted the invitation, though only one arm came around. He kissed the top of my head, right on my skull bow. I giggled because it always felt weird when he kissed me on my bow. I looked up at him, smiling. He smiled back, even letting out a little laugh.

His other arm went towards my left hand, grasping it in its warmth. I shake my hand free and repositioned it. I look back up to him and saw him smiling.

"You know, I could've done that." He smiled even more when he said that.

"Yeah, I know....."

"What's the matter? You're usually not this depressed." The question was so inviting.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And that's where I stop for 2 reasons.
1) It's firetrucking 12 am and I'm tired
2) I have school tomorrow like every other kid and I wanna rest up because I'm spending the entire day with my 1&2 blocks. its algerbra (im in 8th grade) and its all the really smart kids (so that means im smart) but some of the kids are really weird and thats why i'm scarred for life.
I'm writing everyday (well i'm hoping) at least 2 chapter maybe per day because I'm off next week. And I don't know why I keep doing the recap. Probably because it's been a full day since the last chapter and you probably forgot what happened. It did work when I was writing the flashback.
And yes. I will explain how Austin afforded the Jared ring. He went to Jared's everybody!
