All Magnus could see was blood and bullets. At least half his squad was dead including the Sargeant. Many of them people he had considered friends. The rest of the squad was giving up, but Magnus fought on as hard as he could to make up for the deaths.Magnus heard a thump at his feet that caused his entire being to quake. When he look down all he saw was the explosion.
