I was a freshman. I started to live in the school dormitory because I transferred to a new school which was far from my home. I met new friends who are in the same year as me.
On the very first night, I was roommates with my cousin. They allow you to be in the same room as your relatives or close friend to avoid homesickness. In my room, there were around 6 people and the other ones were in higher years.
It was already bed time, around 9 PM, and everyone went to sleep. I noticed that every single bed has rosaries in it and I asked my cousin why, and she said a lot of scary stuff happens in the dormitory, but I shrugged it off because I was homesick.
A couple of days later, I met new friends. It was after dinner in the dorm, my friends, Daisy and Ellie, decided to take a shower. The shower stalls had a long hallway and there were about five stalls.
I went to the showers with them and waited outside because I was already done showering. I saw Daisy and Ellie entered each separated stalls and showered.
Ellie then asked Daisy if what was her room number. I got confused because Ellie would always visit and hang out in their room and I thought she would already know by now. Daisy then answered "4" unknowingly. After that, Ellie never said anything and I thought she was done showering because I could not hear any sound from her stall.
Daisy then went out from the showers, bringing all of her things. She told Ellie that we will go back first to our rooms so she could put all of her things. But there was no answer from Ellie. As we were walking, we passed by Ellie's room and was surprised that she was there.
We asked her if she was done showering, and she said she was just about to shower. Daisy and I looked at each other because we both knew what just happened.
