Marinette collapsed on a tall object in her room while yelling "Happy birthday!" Her kwami, Tikki giggled a little. Marinette pulled herself over to her desk and turned on the computer and made kissy sounds at the gorgeous red-headed boy on her screen. "Happy birthday Nathy." She sighed dreamily.
As she arrived at school, Marinette basically fell into his arms. "Looking for me already?" He teased, his bright red hair brushed slightly. "Yes." She replied. "And this is for you." Marinette added, passing him the gift, wrapped in dark grey and red paper. Nathanaël grinned and ripped open the paper. "I love it!" He near screeched. "Thanks baby cakes." "Anything for my tomato." Marinette replied.
Meanwhile, Adrien was on an errand for Nathalie to pick up a pastry at a local bakery. As the friendly woman at the register handed him the Danish, she dared to ask him why he wasn't in school. "I'm homeschooled." Adrien explained. "My father doesn't want me going to public school."
