Chapter Twenty

Putting my finger to my lips in attempt to remind Mel of my dad's presence, I sighed when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs, "Look what you did..." I mumbled, annoyed at the fact that my dad was now curious on all the noise.

Mel mouthed sorry to me quickly, and pretended to zip her mouth closed just as my dad opened my bedroom door. Standing in the door way, a look of pure annoyance spread across his face, I couldn't help but smile at how my dad was acting, "What's up your butt this morning?" I wondered, quickly causing as smile to spread across my dad's lips.

Letting a bit of laughter slip through his lips, I smiled when a smile remained on my dad's face as he regained his composure, "Damn, was I that bad?" He wondered, raising an eyebrow.

Biting onto my lip, I stared at my dad with a blank expression for a moment, and watched as he began to worry, before I quickly smiled, "You just looked annoyed," I told him honestly, smiling brightly. When my dad sighed, I laughed lightly, "Oh, and sorry Mel practically screamed, she must have interrupted your morning coffee, correct?" I wondered.

My dad nodded, "Well, it's fine this time, but don't let it happen again monster!' My dad told me, pretending to sound firm.

Rolling my eyes, I shook my head softly, "Oh hush it!" I exclaimed, quickly reaching up, and running my hands down my hair in attempt to flatten it.  My dad laughed lightly, and quickly made his way out of my bedroom, making sure to shut the door behind himself. 

After hearing my dad's footsteps fall quiet, I turned to Mel, only to see her holding in her laughter. Letting out a deep breath, I glared at her, and waited for her to regain her composure. Once she was in control again, I opened my mouth to speak, only to be cut of by Mel's laughter again, "Mel, I will not tell you anything about what happened with Seth if you don't hush it!" I threatened, whichimmediately had Mel falling silent.

After explaining to Mel everything from meeting Seth in the woods, excluding all parts about Wolfy, to how Seth walked me home last night, I sat there staring at Mel, waiting for the questions I knew were about to come.

Watching as Mel threw herself onto her back over dramatically, I laughed lightly as she fanned herself, "You met him when he was naked!" She exclaimed, and when I nodded, a smirk formed across her lips, "Was he..." She began, wiggling her eyebrows.
