His daily routine was boring and tiring. He thought everything would be better after graduation, but he found out he was dead wrong.
Chanyeol had the job he wanted, but his schedule was getting fuller and fuller lately. As the time passed, he started to hate everything and everyone at work. It became an habit to be stressed out.
But at the end of the day, when he entered the subway and sat alone on the way back home, there was a curious, messy-haired boy, who instigated him and made him leave his stress behind. He didn't pay much attention at first, but he noticed the boy's constant glares. He always stared at Chanyeol, but never had the courage to approach him.
Today was one of those days, and Chanyeol was on his way to get to the subway. Thinking about the quiet boy, he decided he wanted to know his name. What could it be? Does he have friends? He looks lonely for someone at his age. Thinking about it, how old is he? Stupid questions started running on his mind but they didn't bother him, because even these thoughts were better than thinking about work.
The train came fast and as usual, the boy was there, sitting at the same seat, with the same messy blond hair, and the place was quiet and empty. Chanyeol was about to go to the other side of the train, but remembered he wanted to ask the boy something. He approached him with slow steps, and stood in front of the confused and afraid little boy. "You look like a 15 years old", Chanyeol whispered to himself while thinking out loud, without noticing that the boy heard it and became embarrassed, with his cheeks lightly blushing.
"It's really cold outside, isn't it?" He asked the boy, who wasn't looking in his eyes and pretended he didn't listen. Chanyeol thought that maybe he was afraid of him or just wasn't the talkative type.
He sat by the boy's side, even knowing that this would increase the uncomfortable atmosphere. Chanyeol didn't think that things would go like this. He regretted approaching the young boy. Looking at the window, his mind got blank, and he wished to get out of the train as soon as possible.
There was still a long way until Chanyeol's stop. While checking his watch, he was suddenly surprised by the weight of someone's head on his shoulder.
Is he really sleeping?
Chanyeol didn't know what to do. Looking at the boy, he noticed his hands softly holding a card. Maybe he was supposed to give me this, Chanyeol thought. He gently took the card out of his fingers, without waking the boy up.
He read the name written in the card, Byun Baekhyun. He thought it was cute. It suited him.
Then he took a pen out of his bag, wrote something back and put the card back on Baekhyun's hands, which were really cold.
His stop was announced, so Chanyeol got up with care, trying to not spoil the other boy's deep sleep. He took off his coat, and covered Baekhyun's tiny body.
That night, Chanyeol had something he didn't have in a very long time. He got out of the train with a smile on his face.

The train announced its last stop. All the doors opened, the noise making Baekhyun wake up all of a sudden. He didn't know what was happening, and it took him a while until he recovered all of his conscience. His hands were still holding the card, but he realized there was something different on it.
"My name is Park Chanyeol. It was nice to meet you, but it would be nicer if you talked to me properly. Don't go sleeping on someone else's shoulder, it's dangerous. Take care, airhead." Baekhyun struggled to read the small letters, and after reading, started to blush as red as a firetruck.
