"I wish to be a star", Frank said in delight. Already being extremely intoxicated and already much too giggly.  Frank Iero smiled softly into the deep night of the New Jersey sky. It was May. The soft winds blew creating whistling noises into Frank's plugs. The bridge they were on, marked off on for being closed down. Was creeking but oh how  beautiful it was. Laying down right in the middle because of course Frank Iero was a badass didn't need to be safe. Gerard, on the other hand being somewhat scared although with being high, he didn't feel much at all. " Let me be a star, Gerard" Frank said laughing towards the end of his statement. Gerard chuckled and went to go lay down next to Frank. "How?!" Gerard said. Frank smiled in response saying "When I die, I wanna be a star, I wanna be apart of the sky. I mean fuck the moon and the fucking sun. Stars shine brighter than all of them. When I die, I hope I become a star. So when you look up I'll be right there looking down on you. Gotta stay alive, Kid". Gerard didn't understand half of what Frank was saying and honestly didn't even understand his own thoughts of how fucked up he really was at the moment. Gerard layed there listening to the silence but the heavy laughing of Frank next to him. " Gerard?!",
Frank said while turning his head to face him. "What, cherry cakes?!", Gerard said while smiling than turning to face him too. " Cherry cakes?! HA! Now to think of it I could really be up for some Cake." Frank had gotten the munchies and well Frank wasn't himself when he was hungry, but he didn't want to get off the bridge. Neither did Gerard. They both really didn't want this moment to end. "Dance with me?!" Gerard had proceed to say. "But you can't dance Gerard" Frank said. "That's not stopping me" Gerard than got up and pulled Frank up with him. "C'mon old man, afraid I can out dance, ya?!" Frank looked at Gerard with a very serious face. "Please don't ever let those words escape that pretty little mouth of yours, again!" Than smiled and put his hands around Gerard's waist. "Can I have this dance?!"
"You may!" They linked their hands up and began to waltz around the bridge. Frank had spun Gerard around than dipping him. Trying his very best not to drop him in the process. Gerard giggled at Frank trying to be serious and dance with him, but he enjoyed it. "I'm glad we're friends." Gerard said while in a half smile. "Yeah, friends" Frank said in a soft tone of voice. That statement made Frank's heart sink to his stomach and tie in knots. He didn't want to just be Gerard's friend. He wanted way more, but honestly it didn't affect him as much as it would if he was sober. Gerard didn't realize it than, but he would regret just being "friends" with Frank.
"I miss you", Gerard wrote down in a small black journal, escaping that flashback of him and Frank being on that bridge. A single tear went down his cheek and had reached the paper. Leaving a wet mark. " You're a star now, Frank. But I'm not very much alive" he wrote down on the notebook before closing it.
