N A M S O M I N was sarcastic, shameless and to say the least blunt.

She was born a shadowhunter in Idris, but her parents being close friends with the Lightwoods, often sent her to the New York Institute as a child. She became fast friends with Isabelle Lightwood and Jace Herondale. However, the brunette became particularly close to Alec Lightwood.

Overtime, their bond excelled and Alec began to feel more than just platonically for Somin. But she was to arrogant to notice and Alec was to nervous to confront her.

Though, Alec had devised a plan. A plan that was sure to make Somin notice him and fall for him as he did for her.
