1: The Principal's niece

Lucy is the new girl, Natsu is the playboy. Together they fall in love... But this isn't your typical "good girl" and "bad boy" high school love story. It's kind of more than that.

Lucy's POV
Hey, I'm Lucy! Lucy Heartfilia. I live with my dad, but he rarely pays attention to anything I did. In fact, I'm pretty sure that he forgot about me altogether. I've been home schooled ever since my mother died, and my only friends are my teachers. My teachers were also maids and butlers, and they're all very nice.
Especially my older brother, but he's studying abroad with grandma and grandpa

It was a beautiful day at the Heartfilia estate. I didn't have lessons today so I might as well take a nap. Suddenly, one of my maids, Virgo entered my room. "Princess, your father is requesting your presence." She says politely.

It's been a while since he wanted to see me, about a year approximately. What I expect is a hug, while he apologizes to me about abandoning me. Ha, right. Like that would ever happen.

"Tell him I'll be right there, Virgo" Instead of being happy, I actually feel mad about seeing him. I don't want to see him, I want to leave. I'm sick of this house. I'm sick of being alone. I'm sick of him.

"Yes, Princess." Virgo replied politely as she exited Lucy's room.

I'm deciding on running away. It's not the best idea, but it's the best I can come up with.
I've always wanted to attend a school, so why don't I? I've lived here for 17 years, and it's almost September. If I attend school, I'll be a 3rd year in high school.

I picked up my phone and called my aunt Mavis.

*Start Call*

Mavis: Hello?
Me: Auntie...
Mavis: Oh, Lucy! Dear, what's wrong?
Me: Can you... Pick me up? At 12 am?
Mavis: Why so late, my darling?
Me: I'll explain everything in the car. Stop by my window... Okay?
Mavis: Alright, anything for my Lucy.

*End Call*

Well, now I have lots of time to pack. I better go see dad first, see what he wants.

"Lucy.." I heard his voice saying my name. It filled me rage.

"What do you want Jude." I say as I look at him with my face full of anger.

"Not calling me Papa anymore? Fine. Anyways, I called you here to tell you.. That you're getting married." He replied.

I stood there.

It felt like time stood still.

'I'm getting married?' Echoed through my head.

I felt myself getting angrier and angrier by the second.

That's it.

I can't take this anymore.

I ran up to him and gave him a good slap to the face.

"You finally talk to me after a year, and this... This is what you have to say?! I'm getting married to complete stranger! Don't care about me at all?"
My face quickly filled with tears
"Forget it..." I said quietly as I stormed out of his office.

I ran to my room and locked the doors. It's time to start packing up.

I made a list of what I'm going to bring.

°100,000 Jewel
°4 Pairs of undergarments (Bra and underwear)
°5 Pairs of socks
°2 Pairs of shorts
°6 Dresses
°3 t-shirts and tank tops
°1 pair of shoes
°Picture of mom

Those equal to 2 luggage, good thing it's not too heavy.

Time skip: 12:00 am

I got a call from aunt Mavis, she said that she arrived. I told her that I'll my down in a minute. I also asked her to help me with my luggage, she asked why and I said that I'll tell her in the car.

"Lucy dear, are you running away?" She asked, filled with worry.
I giggled a bit "Yeah... Obliviously. I couldn't take all my dad's shit anymore." I quietly responded.

She giggled too "It's about time, I knew you'd get tired of him someday. So... What are you gonna do now?"
She asked.

"It's was thinking of staying with you... And attending your school." I replied happily. I saw her face brighten up. Then, her was covered with happiness.

"Really?! Of course I'll take you in! And I'd love to have you at Fairy Tail!" She responded happily.

I didn't know it at the time, but little did I know, that this would be the best decision that I've ever made.
