The adoption

Lilly P.O.V

     I have lived a long life of sadness. When I was two, my daddy died in a car crash I survived. From that day on, my mommy blamed me for what happened. on a daily basis, she would tell me I was worthless, that nobody loved me, and a bunch of other mean bad words. The worst part is that I believed her. Then it started getting physical. She  would hit me and kick me until she decided she had enough, which usually took and hour or two, sometimes three. About a month before my 4th birthday, the neighbor finally heard my cries. Thirty minutes into the beating, the police busted through our door and took my mommy to prison. However, the damage was already done. i was no longer the talkative, hyper, and bubbly person i was. I preferred to sit in the corners and sit  alone at meals, which was usually just one apple a day. i did not have any friends. I was alone. I trusted no one.

Niall P.O.V

     Management was forcing us to adopt a child to help our image. We had agreed we wanted a girl, but could not decide on an age. I guess we would pick when we got there. next thing I know I hear Louis shout, " WE'RE HERE!!!!!" and jump out of the van. I got out and headed to the door. harry rang the doorbell of the orphanage. About 10 seconds later, a woman in her forties opened the door. She ushered us inside and into a sitting room. When the girls realized who we are, their eyes got wide and some screamed. I knew who not to adopt now. I love my fans, but i could not live with a huge fan who screamed at the sight of us. We looked around scanning the room. I noticed all the girls standing in a line... except one.

Lilly P.O.V

     " LILLY!", Ms. Huff yelled, " GET DOWN HERE, THE ADOPTERS WILL BE HERE ANY MINUTE!" I slipped on a light pink sundress I had and some little white sandals another girl in the orphanage had grown out of. I walked downstairs to see the other girls all standing in a line. I decided to sit in the corner and try to hide as the adopters walked into the room. I was doing a good job of hiding until a blond haired boy made eye contact and motioned for the rest of his group to come closer. A wave of fear washed over me as they walked towards me. I did the only thing I could think of doing at the time. I started to cry.

Louis P.O.V

     Niall motioned for us to follow him. As I cam closer, I noticed a little girl who looked about 4 or 5 trying her best to hide in the corner. I could not help but find her adorable. She was so small and cute.  As we got closer to her, she started to cry. The sight of her crying broke my heart and made me think she was cuter than I originally  thought.  Niall bent down in front of her so they could meet eye to eye. The rest of us decided to follow suit, so she would not think we were towering over her. Then Niall said" Hi, my name is Niall. What's your name?" I could see the fear in her eyes as she stared at us as she cried and said, "L...L..illy". My heart broke even more to think that Lilly was scared of people just talking to her. I could see the other lads were thinking the same thing. I wonder why she is so afraid. I then say Niall get up and walk over to the director. The rest of us followed knowing that Lilly was the one for us.

Liam P.O.V

     I saw Lilly and I instantly could imagine her coming home with us. When Niall got up after talking to Lilly, I knew he was going to go get the adoption papers. We followed him into the office. The director quickly introduced herself as Ms. Huff and asked if we had found the one we wanted. Before I could answer, Niall said, " Yes, We want the little girl, Lilly".  The director's smile instantly chanced into a frown then she said " Are you sure you want that ugly brat?" I could feel the anger boil inside of me. Harry then said " I think she is beautiful and she deserves to get away from this awful place!" Then Louis said, " Now, we want Lilly so give us the adoption papers so we can get out of this place!" She looked at us like we were insane and with a sigh brought out the adoption papers. I counted this as a victory. I can't wait to get out of this horrible place.
