Six months. Six long grueling months since you had see Liam and finally the day was here. He was finally coming home. He was getting in pretty late so he made you swear that you wouldn’t come to the airport to get him. He said you needed to rest and not wait up for him or some bullshit like that. With lots of pleas from him you finally gave in, but there was no way you weren’t not going to wait up for him. You’d been counting down the days for him to come back home and you couldn’t take one more. Skype and phone calls just weren’t enough to satisfy the hole in your heart. You needed Liam there.
You sat on the couch in one of Liam’s dress shirts. You’d been sleeping in them ever since the day he left. It was like he was there. Of course nothing could add up to the real Liam. You had the television on, but weren’t paying any mind to it. All you could do was sit anxiously waiting to here him put his key in the door.
You looked at the clock and saw it was about one in the morning. Liam’s plane was probably landing soon and you were getting more impatient by the minute. You sighed and decided to go make yourself something to eat. You knew staring at the clock wouldn’t make the time go by any faster. You searched through the pantry eventually settling on some ramen. You boiled some water and started cooking. You being impatient already didn’t help the fact that it felt like the ramen was taking forever to cook. Eventually it was cooked and you put it into a bowl. You were just heading back into the living room when you heard it, the noise that you’d been waiting for all night, the sound of the door being unlocked. Without even thinking you dropped your bowl of ramen not worrying about it crashing to the floor. You ran at full speed towards the door as it opened. Liam looked up quickly to see you coming towards him, immediately dropping his bags. You wrapped your arms around his neck and crashed your lips to his wasting no time at all you dove your tongue into his mouth. He let you control for a couple of seconds, but eventually he took it over. You felt him put his hands on your back and lift you up. You wrapped your legs around his torso as he placed his hands on your bum. The kiss continued for what felt like forever until you pulled away needing a breath.
“W-Wow. Now that’s a lovely thing to come home to.” You chuckled and placed your forehead to his.
“I missed you so much.” You said wrapping your arms around his neck and hugging him with all you had.
“I missed you too.” He replied in your ear as he placed his hand on the back of your head holding you tightly to him.
The hug eventually ended to your dismay and Liam placed you back on the ground and went to pick up his bags. You walked back towards the kitchen and remembered that you had dropped your ramen all over the floor.
“I knew you were excited to see me babe, but damn.” He said with a chuckle.
“I know. I’m sorry. I’ll clean it up then we can head to bed.” You grabbed a rag from the kitchen and bent down to start cleaning up your mess. Liam’s dress shirt had ridden up showing your panties, which of course didn’t go unnoticed by him. You suddenly felt two strong hands grab your waist and felt yourself being lifted up in the air. You gave out a small squeal as Liam picked you up bridal style.
“We can clean this up tomorrow. I need to get you to bed. Now.” You laughed as he practically ran up the stairs with you still in his arms. You were so happy to have him home.
