∞Abigail∞
I groan and rub my eyes forgetting where I am. I look around and see that we've landed and that people are already bringing in boxes and junk. I get up and get out of the jet. I walk around the huge house and then go inside. I find my parents and sister already in their 'fancy' clothes.
"Abigail, please go and change into something well, nicer." My mom said.
"Why?" I ask.
"We're hosting a party tonight to socialize with the neighbors and other people." My dad says. I nod and go up stairs to one of the levels. I stop at every door until I find a room that has my name on the door. I cross my fingers hoping my parents gave me a decently big room. I open the door and sigh in relief. My prayers have been answered! Everything is set up and in the correct way that I would've put it. I go over to the closet and pull out a new dress. I put it on and match it with some accessories. I go over to my vanity and put on some makeup to finish up the look. Since my hair was in a braid the whole day I take it out and it's curly/wavy. I pull on some heels, grab my phone, and head back downstairs only to see that a lot of other rich and wealthy people were there. I make my way down and nod at people to acknowledge their presence. After a few hours I find my parents talking to and couple and I'm guessing their son. Luckily my mom notices me as I'm trying to sneak past them. (Note the sarcasm)
"Abigail, come here. This is the Dallas family." My mom says motioning me to go over there. I mentally groan and walk over there.
"Hi, I'm Abigail." I say shaking the couples hands. I notice that their son is looking, no more like staring at me.
"Hi." I say to him.
"Hey, I'm Cameron Dallas." He says with a smile. And of course their was an awkward silence between us.
"Is it always this boring?" I ask out of the blue.
"Yeah. If you want we can go back to my place and hang out?" He suggests.
"Sorry I can't go out with strangers." I says.
"Oh to bad." He says disappointed.
"I'm just kidding. We can go over to your place. Just wait here." I say with a laugh. He nods and I go back up to my room. I grab a pair of comfy clothes, an extra hair tie, and makeup remover. I put those in a small bag and go back down to meet Cameron.
"Okay, let's roll!" I say. We walk next door and I instantly feel stupid. The guy lives next door for crying out loud! Cam opens the door for me and I thank him. He motions me to follow him and he leads me up to his room. I noticed there was a window that if you looked out you could see my room. I should really get blinds or curtains then.
"If you need to change I'll get out." Cameron says.
"Nah, it's okay just turn around." I say. He nods and turns around. I quickly change into the comfy clothes and tell him that he can turn around.
"You changed in like 10 seconds, how did you do that? Even I can barely change in 10 seconds." He says surprised.
"It's a skill I taught myself in 6th grade." I say pulling my hair up into a ponytail. I take out a makeup wipe and wipe of my makeup I had on.
"Wow. You look-" Cameron starts to say before I cut him off.
"I know I look super gross." I say covering my face.
"No you don't. Plus I was gonna say that you look beautiful even without makeup." Cameron says as he removes my hands from my face. I blush and look away.
"You got pizza?" I ask.
"Always." Cam says. He runs to the kitchen and heats up some pizza. A few moments later he comes back with two slices of pizza. I grab one of the plates of pizza and start eating. Pepperoni, my favorite. After we finish eating the pizza we start talking about random things. I noticed that it was getting dark. Then I saw lightning and heard thunder. I jumped at the sound.
"Shit." I mumble.
"What?" Cam asks worried.
"I'm terrified of lightning and thunder storms. They freak me out." I say hugging me knees to my chest.
"Awe, it's okay. I'll be here to protect you." Cameron says with a smile. I smile back at him but then thunder and lightning strike. I jump again at the sound and move over closer to Cameron. After a few more lightning strikes and thunder sounds I realize that Cam and I were basically cuddling. Oh. My. Gosh. My dad would kill me if he saw me and Cam cuddling!
"You okay now?" Cameron says in a low soft voice.
"Yeah, I think so." I say cuddling more into his chest. I sigh.
"I should probably get going..." I say getting sad. He frowns then smirks.
"Just stay over tonight then." He says.
"No, my dad would kill me if he knew I was cuddling and sleeping over with a guy." I say getting up from the warmth and gathering my things. Just before I go out if the room he grabs my wrist.
"Please stay. For me." He says with these adorable puppy eyes. I sigh and give in.
"Fine, but only tonight." I say and he smiles. I set my stuff down by the door and walk over to Cameron's bed. He follows me and sits on the bed next to me.
"I sleep shirtless by the way." Cam says. I shrug and turn away as Cam takes off his shirt. He chucks the shirt somewhere in the room and lays down next to me.
"Goodnight Princess." Cam whispers kissing my forehead and with that we fell asleep.
