Chapter 1: The Last Day

"Saylor wake up!" My mom yelled at me. As I groaned and struggled to get up my mom was in a singly song like way was saying "Today is your last day at Mulvane High School!!". I finally got out of bed and decided to go downstairs and make some breakfast. I decided to make some cereal. Specifically Cookie Crisp. When I finished I went back upstairs and got ready for the day. Today I decided to wear a black crop top a black skater skirt and my black converse hightops. I wore my hair in a ponytail because it's April and it gets pretty warm in Kansas. As I walk into school I sit down at the tables in the cafeteria with some friends. "Omg! Saylor I can't believe today is your last day here!" Hailey said sadly. "Yeah Say we're totes gunna miss you!" Ana and Brantlee both said in sync. I started tearing up about to cry. School went by fast but, when I get home I pack up my boxes and leave. It's time to leave now. Goodbye Mulvane,Kansas. Hello Maryland.
