I awoke to a frigid morning. Most of the time in our clan I am the first to wake anyway but something is off today. I slowly got up from the fur pelts on which I slumbered and put on my gear. My gear consists of chain mail, thick fur pelts, a metal helmet, two war axes, and a battle axe called the butcher. I drudged out from the long house and saw what looked like people charging towards my clan's camp. I blew the horn of battle waking everyone in the camp. In a matter of minutes everyone was ready for battle. There was at least thirty of them. This however, wouldn't even be much of a challenge for us. Our clan has been known to be the most fierce fighters in the north. There are 34 people in our clan only 22 of which can fight. The others are either old or are children. The closer these "warriors" got the less intimidating they were. The invaders split up and surrounded our camp so 11 of us stayed on the North side while the other 11 sprinted to the other side of camp. My family of 10 warriors plus sound garden our best warrior, held the North while the others held the South. They were terrible tacticians. When they split up, 10 went south while, the other 20 rushed us. I swung the butcher as hard as I could, slicing one in half while slaughtering another one. We charged and held them off. One made the mistake of stabbing me in the arm. I tackled him and bashed his head to bits with a rock. I look over to see my sister Katilina decapitate someone and plunge both her swords into someone. She is covered in blood. Most likely, none of it is hers. She is what we call a scathah, a female warrior who is almost unbeatable in battle. My father swung skull crusher, his war hammer breaking the poor guys ribs. We destroyed most of them. Only 2 remained so Katilina and I tackled and knocked them both out. We tied them up and put them both in a steel cage. It turns out that the southside invaders only lasted 26 seconds. We joined up with the others and dragged the bodies over to the edge of the forest. This is how we stay friendly with the wild life for these woods house some of the most terrifying creatures on earth. No one, not even my clan goes in unless it is mandatory.
