I woke up to sweet sound of birds chirping and the sun shining on my fur, warming my body along with the fireplace that still crackled and popped.  Mikal stirred and rolled over onto the rug.  When I saw his legs moving like a house dog in their sleep, I got up and walked out the door and gave a great big yawn myself.

When I reached the dining hall, I collapsed on the floor from tiredness and because of the smell of breakfast being cooked, Jackie was still napping on the floor next to the kitchen door.  I stretched and yawned again, but then lied down again on the cool marble floor.  My brothers all came down one by one with Mikal at the end, he was wobbling and rubbing his eyes, now in human form.

"Breakfast is to be served in an hour."  One of the many cooks said.

I turned into human form, now my legs felt like they were ready to run for miles.  "Do any of you want to race before breakfast?"

"Not before breakfast maybe after or maybe even after lunch or something but not now."  Kirain said as he, Xanix, Phillip and Mikal sat down at the table and dozed off again.

"What about you two?  Please?"  I asked Ryane and Jearron.

They gave out big sighs and said, "Alright, but we don't want to wake up mom, queens get cranky when you wake them up abruptly."

We all chose to stay in human form since they thought I could cheat with my larger wolf size.  I was neck in neck with both of them until we found our way back to the castle and ran to the dining hall, I pushed myself harder and harder and stopped ahead of them, but fell when I lost my balance.  When they both started laughing, I turned into a wolf and chased them out of the castle after they turned into wolves.

Soon breakfast was served and my mom was sitting at the table in gown that was lavender purple with green accents and lacing.  For breakfast we had fruits, eggs, bacon and sausage.  We all talked about how me, Ryane, and Jearron were racing each other and how I fell 'out of nowhere' because of the marble floors.

I could tell that this day was going to be a great day because I beat two of my brothers, so I could make my way up to beating Kirain, somehow.
