My sister and I lifted our heads to look up at the source of the deep and shaggy voice. There was a tall,slim man standing in front of us with a friendly smile on his face. He had brown eyes, brown hair that was in a weird cut, a mustache, a small nose and a circular face.
He looked like an ideal figure for a pirate.
The unknown guy spoke suddenly as if he read my mind, "You have a great sense of putting people into categories, I've gotta give it to you. I am a pirate of the Everbay sea. My name is Captain Lark Minnie but I would prefer if you call me just Captain Lark."the Minnie guy smiled friendly.
"Okay, since you have just introduced yourself I will do the same for both of us." Lilisa replied.
"Oh goody!" Captain Lark exclaimed enthusiastically like a child that just got a whole big bar of chocolate.
"Right. My name is Lilisa Williams and this is my twin sister Lorencia and we are both 20 years old." My sister introduced us as the Minnie guy studied us.
"Now since we all have been introduced can you explain why we are here?" I asked intently.
"Well, do you want to hear the truth or the truth truth?"
"What's the difference?" My sister an I asked.
"The truth is a lie, and the truth truth is the truth." He answered.
"Fine, the truth truth please." I asked.
"I have two nephews, they are also pirates. Their names are Jordan and Ethan Pretorius. One day they went on a little treasure hunt, an actual treasure hunt not the one with easter eggs and bunnies around. Anyway somehow Ethan got captured by evil beings known as The Oldens. And no I don't know what they look like, where they live or what the do for a living but all I know is that they are scary, gruesome and highly dangerous. Jordon got away but he is still very distraught. Now you are here because you two are the chosen.
"The chosen?" I was quiet confused of what on earth is this guy talking about.
"Yes, The Chosen. You are destined to defeat The Oldens."
"Exactly how are we supposed to do that?"
"My nephews will help you. First things first, you are to meet my nephew Jordan and then all of you are going to go save Ethan and bring him home...then we'll see what to do from then on."
We looked at him dumbstruck. What on earth was he talking about?
"Where and how are we supposed to meet your nephew, Jordan?"
"I'll take you to him, follow me." He turned around and started walking into one of the many corridors leading out of the cavern we were in leaving no space for arguments.
