"I dedicate this song not to One Direction, but to all of you beautiful people that deserve to be loved. Music helped me through my terrible and hard times, so here's to getting through yours."

I sat there in front of my computer screen, watching the video I had just posted on YouTube for Valentine's Day. A cover of One Direction's song Little Things. I went on Twitter to post that I had a new video, and without thinking, I tagged One Direction and all the members' individual Twitter handles. Why not. I hit the enter button wishing one of the members or even manangement would notice it, but that was a 1 in a million chance, so I wasn't getting my hopes up.

The next morning I woke up to my alarm, as it was Thursday and I had to go to school. I reached up to grab my IPod on my shelf. I shut the alarm off and looked at my notifications from various things. It was blown up with all sorts of notifications, but they were mostly Twitter. What the heck is going on? One of them caught my eye as it said "Niall Horan retweeted.." I stared at it like a deer in headlights. After about 30 seconds I snapped out of it and took a screenshot. So I would have proof for myself later. I opened up Twitter and once again was blown away by the amount of notifications I had. I scrolled through them to find the one I thought was just my imagination. But sure enough, I saw that Niall Horan had retweeted my video of Little Things.

(A/N: Pic to the side.)

I stared at it like my life depended on it. I reread it about 5 more times just because I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. But there it was. It was real. I quickly went to my video and saw that overnight I had gotten thousands of views, likes, comments, and subscribes. I couldn't believe it. In the 8-9 hours that I had slept doing nothing, I had gained more hits than in the whole five and a half months I had been making videos.

My thoughts were interupted by my second alarm I had set in case I hadn't gotten up the first time. I put my IPod back on my shelf still in shock and made my way downstairs as happy as a kid with candy.

That's how it all started.

Hello! This is my first fanfic, so I am new at this, but I hope you enjoy. (:

I hope to have the next chapter up by Monday, but you know how life can have interuptions, so I guess we'll see.

And if you want me to continue, then please, please vote or comment! And if you have any pointers, let me know that too! I want to improve as much as I possibly can. (:

~Becca

P.S. I noticed that this has 15 reads which is great, but my first 2 chapters aren't getting so much love. ): I don't know why this is, but I jist wanted to say to people who are thinking that this is gonna be bad, please just give me a chance. It's a work in progress, so please just hang in there. (:
