Chapter 10

(Carl's POV)

Just as I was about to pull the trigger my wrist was grabbed by someone's hand. I looked down to see who it was and..... She finally woke up. I engulfed her in the hugest hug ever. She sat their for a second but then she remembered and hugged me back. We pull away from the hug and she puts her hands on her head and scrunched up her face as if she's in pain. "A-are you you okay!?" I ask her worry taking over my voice.

She opens her eyes and puts her hand down and nods "I'm fine don't worry" she says and she tries to get up but she has a sharp pain in her right leg and falls down. "Ow." Is all she says surprisingly calm. "Are you sure you're okay?" I ask helping her back up onto the bed. "I'm fine I just need to walk it off." She says as she tries to stand up but she cries out in pain and falls down.

(No ones POV)

Soon Glenn runs into the room and sees Ohara. "Baby girl" he whispers and picks her up and hugs her with so much love. "Dad, I'm 14 I don't wanna be carried." She says while getting out of her dads grip and quickly sitting on the bed so she won't feel the pain in her leg. "Sorry sweetie it's just- we were about to kill you but now you're alive!" He says while hugging her quickly.

Ohara quickly remembered what Beth did to her. "Where is she!? Where's beth!?" Ohara yells while looking around the room. Hershel looks down at the ground then back at Ohara "we killed her, she was getting of of control and we thought that would be the best decision" he explains. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't know" Ohara says while looking down and feeling guilty. "That's alright but you little miss need to stay off your leg for awhile to let it heal" Hershel says while crouching down and taking a look at her leg. "Probably for a week or two but not long" he adds. Ohara nods in agreement.

"Alright everybody it's time for me and her to talk" Daryl yells while pushing everyone out of the cell block. Ohara just laughs at them and Daryl sits down next to her as everyone goes back to what they were doing. "sorry about your fall" he says. "Not your fault it's stupid Beth's fault" she says while clenching her fists but unclenches them. "Why'd you wanna talk to me anyways?" Ohara asks while looking up at him. "Well just wanna let you know that if anything happens to your ole dad I'll be there to replace him" he says while giving her his first ever smile. "You smiled!" Ohara says while pointing to him. "Yep don't get used to it" he says while getting up "oh and cowboy over there never left your side since you've been passed out" he turns around and says to her then goes back out of the cell while laughing.

Ohara chuckles at him but then realizes what he said. She starts to blush like crazy and Carl walks into the room. "What's wrong your face is all red?" He says while sitting down on the ground in front of her. "N-nothing!" She says while looking away from him. "Okay? Well anyways I'm going to go search for first aid stuff so do you wanna go?" He asks stand up and making his way towards the door. "I kinda can't cause yknow" Ohara says while pointing to her leg. "Oh yea sorry well I'll be back in a little bit to be- i mean- uhmm check up on you yea so uhm bye" he says while blushing and quickly walking out of the cell.

She chuckled and wrapped herself up in the blanket and went into a deep slumber.

(Later that day)

Ohara wakes up in her cell room and notices that Carl's not there. She gets up and hears a lot of people yelling so she goes to see what's going on. "I can't believe you went out on your own!" Lori yells at Carl. "It's not a big deal mom! Plus it's practice for whenever I'm alone I won't be scared!" Carl yells back. "What's going on?" Ohara says while walking over to everybody.

"Your not apart of this and you should be in your cell!" Rick yells at her. "I was just asking" she mumbles and begins to walk to her cell but then starts to walk back to them "I'm not gonna listen to what you tell me" she says while going up to him. "Listen none of what were saying is your business!" He yells back at her "and why not!?" She says while lightly shoving him. That hits a nerve in Rick and he slaps Ohara.
