Can't you see me..?

Chapter 2

Eric's P.O.V;
"Was she looking at me?" I said out loud "No. why would she be looking at me? She doesn't even know who I am.."

I stood out of my classroom and started walking down the hall and saw my best friend opening her locker.

"Hey, Raquel.. How's Spencer..?" I asked.

Spencer was Raquel's boyfriend. They've been dating for around nine months. Nine months and I still get bad vibes from this dude, whenever he dates someone he cheats on them when he starts to get bored of them. I still don't trust him. I'm always telling her be careful of who she likes. She never listens.

But I still love her to death, we've been best friends since the 3rd grade. I remember that day so well, it was the first day, we were outside waiting to go in line to go inside. We both ran into each other, like every first day of school, your suppose to bring a whole bunch of supplies, like paper towel, tissues, hand sanitizer. Stuff like that. Raquel didn't have any of that stuff.

"Hey, wheres all of your stuff?" I questioned the girl in front of me
"Oh no, I forgot it in my dads car.." Raquel told me.
"Well that's okay, you can bring it in tomorrow, if the teacher lets you," I told her
" Yeah, I hope she does," she told me. " I'm Raquel," she smiles at me.
" Oh yeah, my name is Eric," I smiled at her.
"Who's class are you in?" She asked
" Miss Hetrik's class," I said
"Really? Me too," she sounded really happy. " I hope we can be friends" she smiled at me again. I smiled at her.
"Yeah, me too,"

Raquel and I have been together forever, there was a time where I was away for like two months, and I had no contact with her because I was in the woods with my grandma and grandpa. They don't like that technology stuff, they like old fashion, letters, walking. They don't understand computer stuff, phones, Internet. So they always send us mail. So I didn't have my phone or tablet, I had no signal in the place. I had no way to contact her. My grandma told me to send her a letter, but that's when I realized I didn't know my best friends complete address, I only knew how to get there and how she lived on Gregory street. So I couldn't send her a letter. Which sucked because I missed her so much. We were really close. This was around six years ago. We're still best friends.
Our parents even know we're best friends, they let us sleepover at Each other's houses anytime we want. 
"He's fine, but he's been acting a bit weird this past week," she told me.

"Really?" I acted not surprised, " I told you should be careful around him, even before you started dating, you told me he was a bit off. Now it's coming back to you, I'm not going to tell you I told you so yet, but be careful okay, I don't want you to get hurt, you're my best friend, I love you, and I hate it when I see you mad or upset, crying whatever it is. I only want to see you happy." She smiles at me.

"I love you too Eric," She hugs me, I hug her back. While hugging I was debating whether I should tell her about the girl who was looking at me. I didn't even know her name, but then again I don't know most of the people in my classes name. They were all strangers, but I want to get to know this girl. She was so pretty. Raquel ends the hug.

"What class are you on your way to?" She asked me. I decide not to tell her about the girl.

"I'm onto Spanish class," I say while rolling my eyes. I hate Spanish class. Yeah I'm the smartest on in my class, but it sucks so much. "You?" I asked her back.

"I'm going to English, this sucks, I hate English,"

"I know," I laugh. "Sometimes I feel like you forget that I'm your best friend," I say laughing at her. She starts laughing.

"How can I forget that?" She laughs with me. I smile at her. "I have to go downstairs, or in going to be late for class," I tell her
"Yeah I know, I'll see you after school okay?" She tells me.

"Yeah, okay I'll see you," I said

"Yeah, well talk later," She said a little louder so I could hear her.
"BYE," I yell after her
"BYEE," I walked down stairs and hear the warning bell. I start walking a little faster, I'm never late for this class. I cut infront of people.
