The bright lights are no longer on. The only light is that of the dawn that peered through the scratched windows. It touches the wooden floor gently. The empty room that has nothing but a mirrored wall. My back against a grey structure, and I can see my reflection. But I don't see me, I see a shadow of someone that looked familiar. She was happy, caring, kind and most of all in love. There was this smile that never left her face no matter what she went through she would never give up. I looked at the room through the mirror, like a ghost she appeared, the room was bright again. A weak smile crept on my face. She danced slowly and gracefully, her white dress floating with her. Her body movements were like the wind, swift and smooth and other times they were like the earth, solid. She danced around the room to a soft lullaby that she sang to herself. She thought there was nothing that could break her she was a strong person an that's what kept her happy. At the end of everyday after the dances thier was this person a figure a blurred image that she would always run to. The figure would pick her up and spin her around. That's when she felt the happiest besides when she danced. That was the moment she always looked forward to. But that all changed. Slowly the figured continued to fade until there was nothing left, just her. The vanishing memory that she once treasured and kept close to her heart was now a cast away dream. The little happiness that was left was ripped away. She looked herself in the mirror and returned to reality. The cruel fate she was given wouldn't leave. She stood and danced her last dance. With tears like crystals that fell from her eyes she moved with the same grace she once had. The room spinned in circles as she spinned. It moved as she moved. While singing the lullaby to herself she let everything just............... disappear.
