** Zandile's P.O.V **
As my daily routine I wake up, take a shower and go for breakfast before I check up on my phone that never has messages but instead reminders from games alerting me that my life's are full.
I go back to my room and throw myself on my bed and I reach my phone from the study table where I left it last night, 20 MISSED CALLS and my eyes widen in confusion when it's my best friend Zanele who has been my friend since Primary, and I call her back "Hi friend 20 missed calls that's a lot coming from you what's wrong?" And she answers in excitement but I could hear she was heartbroken "Jack was asking questions about you and asked for your number, I think he likes you" I laugh at her statement "Out of all the girls at school why would he want my number stop being forward he probably just wants something from me" I groan "The guy has a girlfriend in anyway" I add "They broke up months ago where do you live ? Pluto ?" My eyes widen when she tells that but I'm not letting her win this one "Well me and the guy always talk in one of the classes and I never knew about that" she laughs as she tells me "He'll probably text you soon.." And I cut the conversation "I'll be waiting."
This is extremely exciting news, I look myself in the mirror when I smile at my reflection and before jumping back to my bed. I soon get a call when I check the user ID it's Jack I've always had he's number "Hi Zandile , I hope this is you since I lost your number so I got it from one of your friends" A smirk formed on my face I reply "Yes it's me, Jack" so we just spoke about school and he finally asked if I wanted to meet up for lunch and I agreed. After ending the call I stood up with excitement heading to my closet to pick an outfit busy with that I got a text "Pick you up in an hour"

We got to the restaurant and the friendly waiter approach us , lead us to a table for 2 and gives us 2 menus and asks "Are you ready to order anything?" I start smiling to the waiter who had such a cute face "A orange juice for so long and then I'll call you when I'm ready" and Jack "I'll have a apple juice so long" the waiter writes it in the notebook he held in his right hand oh he's left handed that's nice, the waiter left and back to the two of us , he looked into my eyes so deeply and I quickly held both my hands to my face "What's wrong do I have something on my face?" I asked and he just laughed at my reaction.
We were talking about his life when we got interrupted by the waiter asking for orders "Supremo burger and chips please" and he repeated while writing it on his notebook "I'll have a chicken and avo salad" the waiter did the same thing he did with my order, taking the menus and then he left well I wasn't surprised he's an athlete and a soccer player.
He looked up at me and asked with a really soft voice "Can you be my friend?" I send him a smile "Yes I will, but why would you want to be friends with me where are your friends?" And he answered "Well I don't have friends , I have brothers, I don't walk in big groups like you do , there's a lot of fights" I nod my head in agreement , our order came and we ate had a good time and then left just after paying the bill
